It’s a huge factory ?It’s always cool to see a factory, where something awesome is being made ?Florida’s Natural Growers is an agricultural cooperative, with over 1,100 growers members (info from Wikipedia) this means that it’s owned by actual citrus growers & over 700 employees, which is very cool!! ???Cool fact: they package juices in 12 oz cans, which you can buy at the visitor centre ? 24 cans for 25$

Friendly staff. Informative video about Florida Natural. Gift shop prices a bit high.

???????GPS directs you to employee's parking.Truck's Staging and Check-In area is down Washington Rd., Citgo Station at corner of Washington Rd. & Hwy-27.The Signage for Truck Traffic is understated. ? The delivery process went smoothly once I turned around and learned the procedure for Truck's Deliveries and Shipping.Live unload completed within an hour of checking in and docking.

This company used to make and produce the best orange juice and only orange juice that I would buy for my family. However they now import from Mexico and Argentina and the taste is terrible. It doesn't taste the same at all. I looked again at the carton and yep it's now from concentrated juice and a blend of foreign imported sour oranges.Last time I'll buy it. Cost 3.68 at Walmart. Frozen concentrate Walmart 1.26Super disappointed. The quality is gone

Sadly this product is now garbage like Minute Maid and the others. Made from imported oranges and concentrate in ever shrinking packaging. It is very sad. I grew up with Florida’s Natural and it was the only orange juice I purchased into adulthood and now I wont touch it. It tastes terrible and I’d much rather spend my money elsewhere. Although it is not 100% the fault of this company as Florida’s orange growing days are quickly floundering the decisions the company has made is their fault however. If you would offer the original recipe as it was before even in smaller containers and charge a bit extra, I would happily purchase it again. I feel for the US orange industry as I know the struggle is real but there is an opportunity to do better and be better as an American company. I hope that one day we can have the product that we all loved back on the shelves in some form.

Over night parking. Pretty quick. No bathroom on the parking side but a real one while you getting loaded.

Checked in at dock 1 and went to shipping office. The lady by the window asked what door I was in but these doors had no label on them. She asked me to go back and count up from shipping office. I was on the 2nd to the last door from the office and I politely asked her if she could help me out on the door number since it was the 2nd to the last door anyway. This was my 3rd pick inside this facility(broker never mentioned twas a 3 pick in one stop) and just a little courtesy would have been nice, after all, she would have known that door as there were only 13 doors. She rudely told me that I need to go back out and count which door I backed into. It did not require any extra effort on her part to help with the door number but I guess she just wanted to make the situation difficult.Well, just another place where no courtesy is extended to truck drivers.

Florida's Natural Growers was founded in 1933 as Florida Citrus Canners Cooperative in Lake Wales, Florida. It was created to provide the canning of juice and grapefruit sections for its members. In 1938 automatic machines for extracting juice were added. During WWII Florida's Natural Growers produced concentrated orange juice for the military. This new form of offering juice proved popular after the war and 80 percent of juice production shifted to concentrate. By the 1960's the public taste shifted to ready to drink juice and the current name, Florida's Natural Growers was adopted. In 1987 they launched the Florida's Natural Brand offering premium juice and drinks. 2004 was a difficult year for Florida's Natural Growers as they suffered heavy losses of their groves due to hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Jeanne. 2005 saw the surviving groves attacked by citrus greening, a blight that destroys orange trees. 2010 saw the planting of more lemon trees and the development of seven new flavors of lemonade. By 2022 the co-op had only 30 percent of the orange groves they did ten years ago. 2023 marked Florida Natural Growers 90th anniversary. Today they sell orange juice across the country and in 51 countries around the world. The cooperative is currently made up of 12 representatives of 14 citrus cooperatives: Waverly Growers Cooperative, Lake Placid Cooperative, Ben Hill Griffin Inc., Haines City Citrus Growers Association, Orange Growers Marketing Association, Lake Wales Citrus Growers Association, Hunt Brothers Cooperative, Citrus Marketing Services Inc, Peace River Packing Company, Dundee Citrus Growers Association, Winter Haven Citrus Growers Association, and Umatilla Citrus Growers Association, Southern Gardens Citrus Growers, and Lykes. For many years they were the only orange juice makers to solely use oranges that were grown in Florida. In May of 2022 the added oranges grown in Mexico to their concentrates.In2001 Florida's Natural Growers added a Grove House for public education across the street from the plant. The Grove House opens in October until May and sells home décor, folk art, jewelry and citrus scented beauty products, All merchandise is citrus themed. You can also enjoy juice samples and take a self guided tour of the orange groves.I like how Florida's Natural Growers is farmer owned opposed to corporate like other orange juice brands like Simply Orange and Minute Maid which are owned by Coca-Cola. Generations of families have been growing the oranges that go into Florida's Natural juices. I have always enjoyed Florida's Natural but I didn't realize until now that they were farm to table. I didn't know the headquarters were in Lake Wales until I passed by and now and I look forward to coming back in the fall for a proper tour.
