This restaurant has a large standup sign outside that says hiring all positions. I brought my son here for an opportunity to meet the hiring manager, and was promptly told there were no positions available. The blonde haired waitress who greeted us at the front, didn’t even give us eye contact when she spoke these words to us. It gave me a vile feeling in my gut that we were being profiled based on our ethnicity, despite the large sign out front of the establishment. I will never return to this place, refer anyone to eat or work at this establishment.

The friend's I was with was the only good thing about it!I've never had a baked potato come out not prepared as you ordered. It wasn't even cut and was just warm, thankfully the butter was soft. The salad my friend ordered looked really good.The waitress didn't seem like she cared.Might be a good place to drink and hang out with friend's.

I am a local but never went to AJ's. The food is great and the staff is amazing. If you go, try the warm pretzel appetizers. I highly recommend it.
After 2 years of living in the area, my husband and I finally decided to try this place. The service was good, the food was average, and the cleanliness was not great. The menus were dirty, and there were flies on the window ledge, one dead and one buzzing around. My husband killed the live fly, only to have another one pop up minutes later; and we were eating inside the restaurant, not outside on the patio where you would expect a few bugs.My husband ordered the reuben. I ordered the steak salad, and I wanted my steak med-rare. Both my husband and I thought the reuben was just okay. My steak was overcooked (medium) but wasn't hot like it had just come off the grill. It was chopped pieces versus a solid piece of steak that had been sliced, which made me wonder if it was freshly cooked or day-old and just warmed up.Overall, our server was good, but the best thing about our meal was the piña colada. So, if you're just looking to have a few drinks, this place might be okay. Just keep an eye out for flies. My husband and I both said we wouldn't come back.

Came in with my mom on a whim and sat at the bar. It took a few minutes to get anyone to say anything to us but once someone came over everything was great. Tarlia was awesome!! We had a few drinks (the specials were a great price but the martinis were a little pricy). The quesadilla was fantastic. My mom and I are very picky and we were really impressed! Will definitely be coming back as I live down the street

We went for lunch yesterday. The food was terrible. I h ave been there before and it was definitely not as good as it was before which was not great but not terrible.The wait staff definitely tried but they were understaffed and seemed inexperienced. We will not go back again
