This location has morphed from 4 or 5 different pizza restaurants just since I've been here.. none of them very good. We have lots of delicious pizza options in the area so I didn't rush to try their pizza. Certainly trying to frequent family owned local restaurants is always my first choice. I walked in and the restaurant looked like it was ready for a private party, table numbers on each well decorated tables very 50's vibe! It's a very clean restaurant. They do have live entertainment on certain nights which is also very popular. Some nights are themed! I was greeted warmly. I asked if they still had slices to go. She said yes. I took a slice of cheese pizza to go. She didn't have to heat it. I was the only person in the restaurant at 4:45pm on a Thursday. I went home and warmed my pizza in the oven and it was good. I added olive oil and grated cheese. The crust is basic and just OK. The sauce to cheese ratio was pretty good. The sauce was sweet and very flavorful. Truly not my favorite pizza but as a family owned restaurant I will go back and try something else. I've heard from my neighbors who loved their eggplant dishes. They offer wine and beer. Their prices are very reasonable! A great neighborhood family owned restaurant. I will definitely try again!

I used the Slice app to order from here and they have the resturaunt listed as Advantis. When I questioned Slice about their ratings system they referred me to Yelp! The misspelling hid Advanti's from my Yelp! search so I had to Google that. That part of my complaint is over. The ratings displayed on Slice do NOT reflect Yelp! ratings but by the time I figured that out I had ordered via the app. Turns out I patronized this resturaunt under two different previous incarnations so I hoped maybe there had been some improvement. There has not, and to add insult the order is wrong; instead of putting the peppers and mushrooms on the same half of the pizza, they were on opposite sides. Now my wife has to pick toppings off any slice she eats and I get those bits like the family pet begging for scraps. I appreciate Avanti's withheld the sauce and added garlic oil as I requested but for those of us sophisticated enough to want tomatoes on top as we do: there should not be seeds in those tomatoes. Next time scrape out the wet parts with the seeds. I recommend Roma tomatoes if you want do this Tuscan style. This was our first time dinning here. Being Italian myself I am extremely critical of the taste of the way other people make their sauce and I'm embarrassed to say their marinara was AMAZING! My nonna would have had strong competition. It's pretty simple... you want good food, good service and a great experience..... EAT HERE!!! It will be your new get together restaurant as it will become my family's! YOU WILL AGREE!!!

What a rip off!!!!! My husband and I eat at Avanti's on Northlake Blvd. all the time, so when this location opened, we were looking forward to trying it. When I called, the music was so loud, the person taking my order couldn't understand what I was saying. That should have been my cue to hang up. Instead I repeated myself until I finally asked her to turn down the music. She said she walked away from it, and then finished taking my order. I was driving, so I asked for something that should have been easy: Shrimp Scampi. When I picked up my order, I found it's a rather small restaurant, with a pleasant staff. There was Karaoke going on that was way too loud for the space. When I got home, I found that the Shrimp Scampi was 6 large lightly breaded shrimp with a scoop of rice. Rice? On Shriimp Scampi? 1 scoop for $21.50? If the restaurant hadn't been closed by that time, I would have taken it right back. I thought maybe because I didn't look at the menu, I must have missed something. So I checked their menu, and the entry only said Shrimp Scampi. There was nothing about shrimp with a scoop of rice. Anyway, the shrimp was good. The rice tasted like it was sautéed in scampi sauce, but it was mushy and way too salty. All in all, it was a disappointing meal and overly expensive for what they provided. I won't be going back.

Figured my husband and I would go try this place since authentic Italian pizza is great over a chain restaurant any day. Well this wasn't it. We ordered a meat lovers with mozzarella sticks and the pizza was completely soulless... it lacked taste and left me feeling like I could have had a better meal if spent my money at Pizza Hut or the $10 dollar off the shelf pizza at Walmart. They cater to a older crowd so I can see the taste factor getting flat over time the mozzarella sticks tasted manufactured and not created fresh like I was hoping. Overall I most likely won't be going back, oh and the customer service was a little more on the drowsy side of things

The food is incredible, service royal! and on Thursday's the best in local karaoke! KJ Dan has all your fav's and it makes for a worlnderdul night, full bar and wine list.. Come on! You can't not treat yourself to Avantis!

Very beautiful people in a beautiful restaurant. I do wish it wasn't almost hidden. the owner is amazingly, a nice super sweet lady and very kind. employees are super sweet and very kind as well. this is a 5 star for sure.
We had a bowling luncheon at Avantis and it was awesome! Food and atmosphere was perfect. Me and my husband ordered from the take out menu and had it delivered 2 different occasions and again food was great. Just found out they are from my old neighborhood up north. Now they are here in our neighborhood. Awesome!
