“Ah, yes, the legendary Nick's 50's Diner, a bastion of nostalgia in the heart of our modern, often perplexing world. For over two decades, I've made pilgrimages to this temple of culinary delights, and never once have I left unsatisfied.Picture this: stepping through the doors of Nick's is like stepping into a time machine, catapulting you back to an era of greased hair, poodle skirts, and jukebox serenades. The 50s vibe permeates every corner, from the retro decor to the classic tunes that echo through the airwaves. But it's not just the ambiance that keeps me coming back; it's the food. Whether it's breakfast at dawn or lunch at high noon, Nick's serves up a feast fit for a king. From fluffy pancakes to sizzling burgers, every dish is a testament to culinary perfection. And let's not forget about the staff. With smiles as bright as neon lights and hospitality as warm as a tropical breeze, they make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Their genuine friendliness only adds to the charm of this beloved diner. So if you find yourself craving a taste of the past and a belly full of happiness, look no further than Nick's 50's Diner. It's not just a restaurant; it's a culinary adventure that will leave you craving more long after the check has been paid.“
“Wonderful place for breakfast or brunch. The food was delicious and fresh. Our server Cherry went above and beyond, always refilling our drinks, food was brought quickly and warm. We had the bottomless mimosas which were great. The red velvet waffle was super yummy. My husband had the country fried steak and it was so good, he devoured it in a second. I h ad a cream your own omelette with grits and everything was just perfect. The ambience was very nice and family oriented. Will definitely go back when visiting West Palm Beach.“
“I really enjoyed this restaurant. My daughter suggested it, and I'm very glad she did. The service was great. The atmosphere has a really awesome vibe, just what you would expect from a 74 year old restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty. A refreshing dining experience from your usual South Florida eateries.“
“The menu is extensive, the food is great, the service outstanding and though it's a small space, definitely very clean and pleasant to enjoy a meal. They have an extensive menu like every good diner and they're so friendly and accommodating. This is what a diner is supposed to be. I'd like to recommend something but instead I'll recommend everything! Oh, and the prices are so affordable, I will eat here all the time!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options.Dietary restrictions: Like most good restaurants in South Florida, they will prepare anything and everything to your specific needs.Parking: It's a very large shopping center with free parking, but sometimes during breakfast and lunch it can be difficult to find an open space, especially a handicapped space. But keep circling, they turn over quickly.“
“I've lived in Boynton Beach for 6 years, and this is the first time I've eaten here. At 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday, it was jamming and I see why. The service was great and so was the food. When I asked about the corned beef sandwich, the server sais, "we are not a deli." Enough said for me. I asked about the Gyro and she gave a thumbs up. It was great, the french fries were just cooked, nice and crispy, hot. My friend had the Ruben and took half of it home. Will definitely be going back.“
“My mom and I visited for her birthday breakfast this past weekend, and it was exactly what you'd picture when you hear the words 'mom and pop shop'. Lots of happy regulars all around, particularly at the central counter island. They offer classic diner fare at incredibly affordable prices and some deli meats and spreads for you to take home, if you like. Bonus: Possibly the FASTEST service I have ever received at a restaurant. They know their stuff.“
“A BIG shout out to our manager Jen. A busy sunday, only 5 servers. Online orders to the floor. Very stressful. But, she was everywhere. On the cook line, Bagging uber eats. Taking care of a lengthy issue with a customer, over her shoulder she saw that last customer who paid pulled out their card too fast so the screen said decline. Found them just leaving and were very nice to come in, check was 80 dollars. She saved that one. I could go on and on about how she turned our day around. At the end of the day she ALWAYS says thank you everyone great job today. We all said no, THANK YOU, for all that you do ! She doesn't stop !“
“No frills, but a great value. We eat here about once a week. Great place to go for breakfast. Be sure to get the link sausages with whatever you order. I rate using the original 5-star system, where 3 stars means I got what I expected for what I paid, and am happy with my purchase. 4 means I got more than I hoped for.Parking: Plenty of spaces available, usually within 20 feet of the door.“
“Fast Service, Friendly Staff, Great Food!!!!!! Diane was amazing soooooo greattttt*** I love going there knowing, she is the best* she always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone's dining experience is the best and food is great !!!“
“Casual diner experience.. we got the shrimp and grits and banana walnut pancake and the bf burrito and a mimosa, it's obvious that everything is made fresh. Our server was Alexa and she was really friendly and always nearby if we needed something. I'll be going back :)“
“I was greeted with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. I opted for their signature dish, the "Buzzy Breakfast Platter," which included fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, and perfectly scrambled eggs. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the portion size was generous.“
“Christy is amazing. So gentle with my bossy 3 year old. She really made us feel like we were in her home. Very hospitable and I’d come back just for the ambiance. I’m eating keto and this meal hit the spot. The chef is pretty nice at it. My eggs are cooked to perfection. Definitely coming back!“
