I did the catering for 70ppl & it was absolutely delicious! The most amazing haitian food. Everyone was happy (old, young, black, white, indian). My family has high high expectations for food & GSJ Bon Resto made it and more!! We could not be happier. Mwen te tré safisfé!

They have the best deep fried haitian patties but the other foods not so much. I ordered a griot and the meat was tough. The hot bread is really good but they are at times out which makes no sense, they are a bakery.

Beautiful environment, quality food

I don't even know why they are open or how they stay in business because they never have food...and when you call to ask if they have they say "yes" and when you get there they tell you no they don't have.

Wow! You don't expect much when looking at the place, but you quickly find they have a passion for the food and the griot was delicious.

Best restaurant ever

We were headed for tacos/pizza in the same strip of stores when we started talking to a guy in the parking lot. He had a couple boxes of food in hand and we noticed he'd come out of this restaurant. After he told us that it was one of the best Caribbean places around, we changed our plans. The menu is on the wall behind the cashier. You pay and pick up here. They told us about ten minutes for everything to be ready and it was. We decided to eat in. They have four or five small tables along the edge. The restaurant was busy the whole time we were there -- a few others eating in and a lot of folks doing takeout/to go orders. While we were waiting, we got a little taste of one of their natural fruit ice smoothies. It had cherries and pina colada, etc. in it. It was very good. We both got their stewed chicken. The portions were huge. We easily could have shared! We got it in take out containers so it was perfect to take the large amount of leftovers home. The chicken was two large legs in a red sauce with bell peppers and onions; it was packed separately. In the other box, was a mound of red beans and rice, a section with salad (they gave us packets of a creamy caesar dressing for it), a single plain plantain, and a very spicy coleslaw that she warned us about. Wow! The chicken was flavorful; the red beans and rice were addictive; the salad a good palate cleanser, and the scotch bonnet coleslaw perfect for my husband (but way too spicy for me). So glad we didn't settle for pizza. Just a side note, everyone speaks English, so no language problems here. It really was "pi bon an".
