My margarita was too sour. The bread was stale. The Caesar salad had too much cheese on it so we couldn't finish it. The entree was delicious. The building and dining room is beautiful. Service was a little slow. We will try again another time.

The ambiance, service and food were lovely. I would definitely recommend. However, I had made a notation when booking that we were coming to celebrate a birthday. At no time was this mentioned by the staff, nor was anything specific to make our time there any different than just going out to dinner. Also, if you do not want to deal with road noise, as for a table farther away from the door to the street.

We went to Terrace Grill to celebrate my birthday. The service was slow and the food was extremely pricey for the portions served. My husband ordered the Wedge Salad which was totally covered with the fried onions, overwhelming the taste of the salad. My Hollingsworth salad had far too much dressing. I ordered the scallop entree and was shocked when it came out with 3 scallops (and they were not extra large diver scallops) on top of creamed corn. At $36 for this entree, $12 per scallop is too much to pay. My husband ordered the Delmonico steak which was very gristly for $48. I want this restaurant to survive as It's in a very historic hotel in my city but now I see why they were not busy.

Great service from my reservation and later date adjusting the time. Professional welcome from Kayla and exceptional service from Julia. From the wine, lunch cuisine and dessert, everything was a wonderful experience and I was pleased to be able to bring our office administrator and pastor as well, for his birthday. Look forward to my next visit.

Really enjoyed the seasonal strawberry bellini and the radish appetizer was divine. The dinner portion of scallops includes three large scallops and they would have been much better had they been properly seared. The Hollingsworth salad was drowning in dressing and was very sour. The most disturbing thing I witnessed was a female server using the handicapped stall in the ladies room and then returning to serve diners without washing her hands. We usually love the food and service at The Terrace Grille but this was a disappointment
Went for a second time during our 1 year anniversary, Ordered a mojito, and my significant other ordered a expresso martini (came out great) started with a charcuterie board as the appetizer great variation on the board, proceeded to order a dirty martini as a second drink was good and not overpowered by the brine, significant other then ordered the scallops and I ordered the spicy pasta (do not recall the dish name) both came out great all well cooked and finished it off with a Crème brûlée desert, great staff and great experience as-well.

What a beautiful, historic hotel restaurant that made for an entirely underwhelming dining experience. The hostess and servers were robotically bored with their job and service is a huge factor in a wonderful dining experience. Going out for a Saturday night date in a nearly empty restaurant, we were seated with the elevator directly behind us and with that came all the noise of a hotel. The food was good, but little things were off for the price and ambiance. Overall, completely underwhelming and we won't be back.
Went to dinner with friends here... the ambiance was nice, big windows, color scheme was pretty but the noise level was a little loud. Menu was not large, so if you are a picky eater, this may not be a good choice. Filet was great, but a bit pricey. Drinks were mediocre and expensive. Waitress was meh and seemed a bit agitated by our group. Not sure why when we ordered drinks, appetizers, food and dessert with our bill being more than $600! Won't be back...
From time of arrival with a reservation to getting order taken was 40 minutes. Staff was really busy paid little to bare minimum attention to our table. Steak was ordered well done and it was provided burned on the outside and medium done inside. Complimentary bread while we waited would've been nice.

The Terrace Grill was a special experience for myself and my wife. The attention to detail in the presentations of everything was astonishing, from the decorum, the food and especially the staff. This was not just a dinner out, it was a memorable experience. The Terrace Grill takes fine dining to a high level without the stuffiness. We recommend getting an inside table, though next time we want to experience the terrace with its view of the lake.
Went yesterday for Valentines, our reservation was for 8:30 end up being at 9:15 because apparently they were just full. Purchased the lake view dinning room which included a rose and some chocolates which they never gave us. Service was way average, we requested a sparkling water at our arrival and it never came. My pasta was overcooked and dry , my husband's food was cold. The place looks good but nothing else. I don't know where all this good reviews come from because this restaurant and the food is way below average for the price. Never going back.

Manager sat us and brought over the food menu, wine list and a mix drinks menu on that menu had food items also. when the waitress came over to take our order. she told us we could not order from that menu because we were not sitting in the bar. so why were we given that menu and to all the other dinners?
Was there for breakfast. Food was good for two of us. Third person took a bite of bacon and found a long blonde hair wrapped around the bacon. Not just on top but wrapped around. Reordered meal. But we were grossed out. Probably not eat there again. I didn't ask but I don't think they should have charged us for that meal.
