MY DREAM WEDDING CAKE!We wanted a New York/Italian Style Wedding cake and Cake Makers did JUST THAT! Each floor was a different flavor and filling. Our guests STILL rave about how fabulous our cake was and HOW DELICIOUS it was!Delivery and set up was Top TierDecoration was so detailed and exceeded the expectations that we had from the inspiration picture we showed them. The consult was so thorough and we planned down to the height of each layer and height of the cake.We are so so grateful for Cake Makes Studio for the Wedding Cake of our Dreams

I stopped in just for a slice of cake. My first visit. I opted for the German Chocolate cake on recommendation of the lady who waited on me. It was excellent. Full of flavor, not just sweet. Moist chocolate cake with a fudgy frosting with nuts, coconut, and caramel in between the layers. It was a little pricey for a slice of cake at $7.05 after tax, but the quality left me very satisfied. They didn't have a big selection of cake slices... only three.... German Chocolate, Almond with what looked like a vanilla buttercream, and another chocolate... I think it was Triple Chocolate. But they also had a fairly large selection of cupcakes. I would go in again the next time I'm in Lakeland if I have a desire for layer cake.

Stopped in for an ice cream and to use the Restroom. While I’m in the restroom I received a phone call from the wife explaining to me that we will not be purchasing ice cream from them after observing her mother in law receiving improper Hospitality by the lady hired to work behind the counter. The demeanor and obvious attitude of not wanting to be there was not welcoming. We love to support our local business but unfortunately this one hired the wrong person to represent the establishment this early afternoon. We will come back another time and try again. Too bad, I really was looking forward to trying the Kahlua Almond Fudge ?. We will try again another time, maybe. On a side note, the the restroom facility was nice and clean. Also the cakes on display behind the counter where fantastically done. Very cool.
I’ve used this company in the past and had a great experience, I’m not sure if the owners changed or the staffing changed but this time around I had a really bad experience. Primarily because I’ve been asking them via phone and EMAIL, I sent pictures provided the needed information to receive a quote. I called twice to follow up and find out the quote and both times they say: Someone will email you back once they look at it. It has been a week almost since I inquired and no one could take the decency and time to respond. Not reliable!

We drive 25 miles just for her ice cream and desserts!!!The Freakshakes are out of this world!!! We found her by accident while dining nearby. Weekly trips are a must now as the desserts and ice cream flavors are rotated out often.

I called to order my daughter a cake. They told me they already had the cake I wanted in the fridge. I was already hesitant because it wasn’t fresh. After paying $70 it was disgusting and dry. It had a filling I didn’t want in the middle and the frosting tasted like the fridge. It wasn’t even edible. I will never return. This is the worse cake experience and my daughter turned 18!
