My wife and I visited Chef T's for dinner last weekend and had a nice experience. We started the meal with the French Onion Soup. The soup was rich and flavorful, filled with savory soaked bread and topped with melted Swiss and Provolone cheeses. We also shared the Escargot appetizer. The escargots were tender and juicy and soaked in a rich white wine and sherry sauce and topped with tender earthy mushrooms. For my entrée, I had the Veal Marsala. The veal was tender with a light savory breading and topped with a rich earthy marsala sauce. To end the meal we couldn't resist the Limoncello Cake which was moist, had a nice lemony flavor and was topped with an airy whipped topping. Overall, Chef T's is worth a visit in Lakeland. The restaurant is very small so I recommend making a reservation in advance.

We decided at the last minute to hit up Chef T's on a Wednesday night. They took us in at the last minute, but there were only two other tables being served. Sam did a great job with the serving. The food was good but we did not think it was very fresh. The ambiance was special and intimate and we even made a few friends.

My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner at chef Ts. Everything was perfect, best food in lakeland for sure. My wife and I both cleaned every plate. Not sure how I’m just finding out about the hidden gem, but it will definitely be a regular dinner for us.

An underrated hidden gem in Lakeland that deserves to be in the same conversation with other local greats - 1961 and Scarpa's. The chef is first class and the service was excellent. The only thing I would improve is maybe expanding the beer selection and replacing the current art selection with some local artists. Possibly my favorite local spot that is a little offbeat, affordable, and most importantly- memorable.

Best French onion soup ever. Have been here several times and always had excellent food. Atmosphere is very pleasant and, overall, Chef T's has a special, unique ambiance. Love the southern mansion that it was and the fine dining restaurant that it has become. Save room for their desserts.

We came back because we loved the dinner the first time around. This time we ordered salads, which literally came out of a can at $9.00 a pop. Canned green beans and canned beets topped the garden salad. Probably the worst salads we ever had to eat out, especially at that price. The fish dish had rice that tasted like a box I would make for the kids. The veggies didn't taste fresh either. For a bill that was almost $200.00 to include a bottle of wine and an appetizer we won't be back here.
