Ordered General Taos chicken w/pork fried rice and a small chicken noodle soup. Drove the food all the way to the lake for lunch... only for there to be no plastic ware?. Im sorry but that should always be included in bagging process. Plastic ware isnt something you should be checking the bag for or getting yourself at the counter at this day and age it should just be a given! It's food, what are expecting me to eat it with?? Or you just assume I'll have something to eat with where ever im going. Needless to say I had to wait almost 4 hours before I got back home to eat. And btw the general taos chicken was bright red like they put food coloring in it or something. It tasted pretty bland and had no spice to it all but the dominate demographic in the area usually likes their food like that anyway. But its a no no for me!

I had the pork lo mein, egg rolls, vegetables delight in the brown sauce, and crispy pork fried wontons. All of it was fabulous! This is the best Chinese food in Lakeland. ❤️Vegetarian options: I haven't had all vegetarian food here but the Vegetables Delight is fantastic!
While not the fanciest place by far, people of Lakeland don't overlook China Wok. One of the strip shopping center formats it's clearly meant more for their take-out service than diners eating there. Some of the dishes like the orange chicken can be hit or miss other dishes are consistently what keep me coming back. The wonton soup is like a warm hug. If you get the large serving it can easily feed two people as it's packed with a half dozen or more huge wontons. Wontons with great filling and perfectly cooked, not mushy. The other is the steamed dumplings. They're huge and filled with pork and veggies. Sure they'd be good fried as well. A great vegetarian dish is the veggies with tofu. The sauce is delicious and makes eating your veggies that much more enjoyable.

Ive tried multiple times for a couple months and its been consistently oily and gross every time, please go back to your old recipes from a couple months ago.
