Not a lot of variety of food. Same food all the time. Lots of empty food pans. Lengthy weight for food and rolls. No organization for lines. Did not seem prepared for a Holiday Dinner. The associate carving the turkey just walked off for no apparent reason.

Not sure why this place is still on Yelp since it closed moths ago to make way for a new Aldi. The building has been demolished, so it done be gone now -- that's all folks!

Love Golden Corral. We got there at 8:40 they close at 9 the staff was so great let us eat at our leisure with no dirty looks or rushing us. They asked if we were finished before they started breaking down. Thanks to your wonderful staff and management team. This disabled Veteran really appreciated it. The pot roast was wonderful as always.

I give it a solid 4 1/2 stars. The food is excellent. Every single thing I ate was delicious. The servers are courteous, the tables aren't sticky, and you can get a steak made to your preference, what's not to like.

Food and service was fantastic. Place was clean. Unfortunately they are only open for another week from today. Lunch buffet was $12.72 including the drink. Without a drink it's $9.72. The owner is elderly and sold the place. It's going to be an Aldis.

Tony and I revisited Golden Corral on South Florida Ave. This is one of our favorite places if we're out shopping or running errands. The buffet is always clean and home cooked dishes. They do a southern girl proud. The rolls are always fresh out of the oven. On our visit tonight we learned that our favorite Golden Corral will be closing in 2 weeks. We were stunned. This restaurant has been here in Lakeland for a very long time. Those of us in South Lakeland will miss them. The front of house and back of house staff are all so helpful and very friendly. From management to the cooks, servers, cashiers. Wonderful. Tony and I will miss all of you. Thank you for always taking good care of us.

Ate here tonight, probably for the last time. Very disappointed to find out they will be closing in less than two weeks. Other than that it was a great place to eat and the service was always great. Wish all the employees the best of luck this time of year

I was in Lakeland for an appointment an wanted to try a different location for a Golden Corral and check if it was better than the otber two, I had been recently. I can definitively say that the taste if the food was much better, to the point that I over ate and had dessert.It was welcome change, 3 stars for the place, (dated but clean, 4 for the food.
They don’t pay their vendors even with a court order they refuse to pay, would never go there to eat!!!

They are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of their customers & staff by providing gloves, masks, sanitation stations and extra cleaning of the tables/chairs etc...Great place to enjoy all your favorite foods in one place at a great price!

Went for Thanksgiving, they had a good spread. I'm vegan, so I didn't eat turkey or anything with a face. What I had was good, sauted mushrooms, ? they were hot. I would go back, lots of people there. But the line didn't take, it kept moving. We got in within minutes, it was busy inside. People were nice, first time I had Thanksgiving here. Good job to everyone, was worth it
