The quintessential Cuban sandwich. Also, great breads, sweets and beverages for the nostalgic, and for the adventurous. Excellent ambience, spacious and with friendly service. Highly recommend!

The food is good, not fast but good, but the atmosphere was almost like stale. It was almost as if people didn't really want to be there. Obviously, they want to be there and get food but everyone kept to themselves with their face in their phones ? something was missing, not sure what but something.

I love this place I keep coming back every time I'm in that side of town. I love that they have the Caribbean food did I enjoy to eat so. I love that they have evolved an added several things to their menu. Their pastry our divine. They make press sandwiches, mofongo and so many other things did I grew up with. You should give yourself and you experienced by stopping by and getting any food from their menu and be patient it is not a fast food place.

Every time I come for a visit/vacation I drop by this place nothing like some good Spanish coffee and toasted buttered bread, cannot forget about the delicious pastries. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious.

Great baked goods! Lack luster breakfast platter. Very cheap ingredients for an inflated price unfortunately. Would recommend everything BUT the breakfast platter.

What a great place ! Our 1st time here and we fall in love with the sandwiches and the sweets. The amazing customer service and satisfaction of this restaurant make me feel at home. This place will be our number 1 place to eat our delicious Puerto Rican cuisine.

Great guava cheese pie. Would like for they're to be more guava in it. Tasted fresh and not to Sweet. Water is good! Fresh food served here. Great helpful service. The iced latte is a little overpriced but it is good. Nice employees. Clean dining area. It was our first time so trying to decide what to get was a challenge. But one of the guests dining here was helpful by there recommendations about anything with guava and cheese was good. Next time I would be up to try the cheesecake or cinnamon roll. Cinnamon rolls looked very fresh. I would recommend.Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't bring them here.Parking: Parking was for the cigar store next door. I didn't see a lot. We walked here. They should have parking available around here so you can park there.Dietary restrictions: Healthy options available for purchase here you ok be able to get something like rice ,beans lean meats or anything good like that for your healthy diet. I'm sure they'll have lower sugar or sodium options for your dietary needs.

Good sandwich but expensive for the type of food and proportion. Place was dirty when we went ( Tables with crumbs and napkins on floor, they were not so busy to sweep) we decide not to stay and took food with us.

Best Cuban sandwich we have ever had. Our work team went late one Thursday (special is beef stew), and they were out, so if you want one of the daily specials, go early. My son is from NYC, so he can get great Cuban food anytime...and he raved about the sandwich. Just yummy!

Please post price of chef's special when advertising on social media. I was there today specifically for the steak bowl. I changed my order when I found out it cost $16. I was not prepared to spend that much for lunch. I had the half Cuban special instead. I'd asked for no mustard on the sandwich, but it came with mustard. I was on my lunch hour so could not wait for a remake. Rice and beans were fine. I will return eventually.

Stopped in while driving through Lakeland. They had a decent selection of desserts to choose from. Most were gone when I arrived but I took that as a good sign. We ordered guava & cheese quesitos and a guava & cheese pastelitos. Both were good. Prices were ok. Would like to try other items from their menu (mofongo, Cuban sandwich, etc.) next time I'm in the area.

My wife and I were searching for a well made Cuban sandwich similar to what we were used to finding at some family deli locations in the little Cuba area of Tampa. We arrived on a Saturday @ 11:45 am and were able to walk right up to the counter and place our order to go. From the menu my wife ordered a Cuban and I ordered a Tampa Cuban. It was a bit of a wait for two sandwiches, but assuming it was being made fresh, we overlooked the twenty-five minutes it took. They appeared to have been turning out a number of phone orders, so this may have influenced the wait time. When we arrived home we were disappointed to find that neither of the sandwiches included ham or cheese (swiss). It was simply too far from home to return to request a correction. As this is not a fast food chain I did not expect we needed to double check the ingredients prior to departure.... Sadly this was not the case. I would have rated lower but I do have to admit that the pork and bread that we did receive was a tasty sample of what might have been a better experience. I cannot say we will return.

If you are looking for an authentic Cuban bakery, this place is it. I was surprised to find this place. If you just want a bakery item or you want a full meal on site or if you want a large meal for a large group that is prepared and delivered to your vehicle on a card this is the place to go. The food has a unique taste. We will definitely be back.
