Moved here a few months ago and have tried almost every mom and pop pizza place within 15 mins of my home. This is definitely the best pizza I have been able to find in Lakeland! We have probably had it three times now. Had the boneless wings and cheesecake tonight as well which were great. I had a quick chat with the owner while picking up my pizza tonight and he was super friendly! Will definitely be back! ?

My sister and I stopped here after she got off work (about 4:30) Both of our dishes were outstanding and we will be returning many more times. I love that they serve garlic knots with meals. Anywhere else, you'd have to order a side of them.

I don't mind paying for good food. It was not the worst I've ever had but when I pay 20 dollars for a pizza I don't want canned mushrooms and cut up sliced ham. I can get that at 7/11. Like I said fresh ingredients is the the price you reflect. You should use them

Delicious pizza. Incredible chicken parm. Good prices. And amazing service. You can't ask for much more from an Italian restaurant. I would certainly recommend Sal's to anyone! We moved down here from NJ, so you can consider us experts on pizza and Italian food. Yes...even more so than New Yorkers ? Sal's pizza is as close to NJ/NY pizza as you are gonna get ? We even purchased a few slices to go for a homeless man a few blocks away. He loved it, too, btw. A+

Pizza arrived cold. When we complained without asking for anything, I was treatedRudely with not even an apology. Then I was hung up on. Not a great experience. Cannot recommend.

Decided to try a different pizza place this Friday night, called to place a pick up order, hold time was just at 5 minutes. Very friendly staff took my order. X-lg pizza half cheese half green peppers and onion with an order of garlic knots. Pizza was tasteless, it just simply lacked any sort if flavor, the garlic knots were good, had we known how small of a side of sauce we would get with these we would have ordered a few extra sides of sauce (the sauce given was enough for 2 knots for my personal liking)

We do pizza and a movie pretty regularly as a family tradition and it seems that as of late, it takes almost two hours to get anything delivered and once you get it, it's cold and gross. NOT SO, HERE!!! My wife and I got stromboli, and even though slicelife.com didn't list just pepperoni and cheese stromboli, they actually paid attention to our note and delivered the right thing! (Also rare lately!). Our Strombolis were so delicious and packed with cheese, it was insane! Got the kids "Kids Personal Pizzas" and they absolutely loved them, particularly the pepperoni and bacon one. What a wonderful experience and delicious food.Thank you for coming through in a time where service seems to be in short supply!! Would've posted pictures, but we ate everything too fast.
My husband and I are new to Lakeland and have tried the same old pizza spots in the area & wanted to try something new. We have drove by Sal’s so many times and tonight we tried it for the first time. It was absolutely delicious!! It reminds me of a pizza spot in New York! We found our new pizza spot!!

This place is amazing in everything I have ordered. I've gotten calzones, pasta dishes, a variety of random pizzas, and almost every appetizer they offer. Every single order not only been extremely above what I expected and very quick and friendly, but the quality is downright amazing. From their pizzas to calzones, to their fried mushrooms to their bacon fries (amazing), every single thing they cook and deliver is several points beyond awesome.

If you want Chicago style pizza, do not go here! Its not like a pie crust with the cheese on bottom and sauce on top. Its more like a Pizza Hut deep dish with less cheese and sauce and costs twice as much. Pizza was way too much bread! Their pizza costs just as much as Giorgano's or Pizzeria Uno! $22.00I called to tell them but they wouldn't exchange or compensate. Wasted money for food not eaten. I feel like throwing on their front door step!

Great food! We order from Sal's II all the time for delivery and takeout.. The food is delicious everytime, Authentic Italian. Red sauce is spot on for me.. Never had an issue with orders. If your looking for good food you found it!
