Went through the drive through. Young lady was busting her butt behind that window. I had to wait but it was obvious lack of staffing, not anyone's fault that was at work. Great food, great service.
Amanda at Sonic’s in wauchula was the most disrespectful manager. I’ve ever met. She’s a joke and should be fired on the spot. Her and the rest of that sorry staff. Worst service I’ve ever gotten. She refused to remake shakes that they messed up on and was so rude to not only us but other customers. I won’t be back.

Do not waste your time coming here late at night. You will not get service go somewhere else. You will waste your time waiting in line and will not get any food... Complete waste of time.....While waiting in line for over 50 minutes.. more than 30 of which we were at the speaker saying hello several times we did not get any service. We did not get a hello. We did not get a hold on just a second....We did not get a we did not get anything not a noise out of the speaker....and we arrived an hour before closing time. When we went to the window because it was about closing time by this time after waiting, almost almost an hour in line at the speaker... We were told they are closed. We were also told another excuse... And that They cannot take any more orders and they are closed... I asked why they didn't announce that on the speaker when we were saying hello. Hello several times they claimed they did. However, they did not, and if they did. There was a person in front of us who seemed to get their order And we pulled up right behind them on the speaker and didn't hear anything from the speaker at all. Literally nothing, so there was no warning or notification that they were closed even though they lied and said that they said it several times... And again we were waiting at the speaker Over half an hour before it was closed. This is very unprofessional... Sonic was rude about it on top of that... Don't waste your time coming here late at night. You will wait in line and not even get service. Go somewhere else.
The cashier, Amanda H. was so very kind and was literally went above and beyond for the customers in the restaurant. I sat back and watched how she interacted with the guests and I was very impressed with her hospitality and professionalism. At one point she even came to my table and offered my daughter a cute little new years hat and my daughter was so excited over it!!! I cannot tell you how much it meant to us to be treated so very kind. God bless you Amanda. As far as the food, it was pretty bad. The soda was moldy tasting and I'm sure it hasn't been cleaned properly in a very long time. I've been in the restaurant business for many years and know that moldy taste, unfortunately. The chicken bites were so hard my daughter couldn't bite into them so we threw them away. Her burger was great she said and my chili dog tasted amazing ? Other than that it was nice. I didn't ask for a refund or complain about the food because of how kind Amanda was. If the service had been terrible then I would have definitely asked for a refund no doubt. We dined inside and I'm glad for that. During our meal a customer came in from the drive in and claimed he had been waiting a very long time for his food and inquired on what was going on. The employees couldn't find his order and Amanda made things right, retook his order and remade his food. Amanda was very apologetic and made sure he was taken care of. I probably won't be back though because in my opinion the food is too expensive for the quality you receive. Keep up the awesome hospitality and customer service though!Dietary restrictions: No gluten free or nut free options available.

If I'm going to enjoy a fast food burger, it's Sonic with tator tots. We both enjoy the blasts for an occasional treat. Service has been good every time. It's a nice place, not crowded during off times when we go.

Did an online order. 2 hours before closing time. Spent 60 minutes at a stall, never got food, even 30 minutes after the screen said order completed. 20 people went through the drive thru while only 3-4 people were served at the stalls. No one would answer the stalls or the phone. Lobby doors were locked so I had to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru just to cancel my order. I wasn't hungry any more and it was getting late. Then the people at the store can't do a refund for online orders. So I spent 15 minutes on the phone the next day getting a refund from customer service.
