Their nutella beignets + iced coffee hits the spot! Also a delightful intimate venue for live music.

On the corner of Main across from Texas Kattle Company restaurant. Cute place to hang on the weekend they have live bands. Best Beignets too. Cute sitting areas.

They might be known for beignets but they should be known for their SMOKED CHICKEN AND CORN. Be warned it's not available every day but if you're able to come in when it is it'll be the best you've ever had. We must work together as a community to create demand for this food so it can be available every day of the week. The chicken is simply immaculate. Tray is an expert on the grill and never fails to deliver excellent food. I will be moving out of Lakeland soon but every chance i'm able to come to town I will try to get this delicious chicken and corn. Do yourself a favor and get these flavorsome goods. The ambience is also nice and the staff is friendly. support local businesses

The Poor Porker is a great family fun atmosphere! You can join a band to perform karaoke or listen to a live band play. The staff is amazingly friendly and the food was amazing! ? Great place to chill on the weekend.

Sad.....just sad.....don't go out of your way to go the extra mile for customers coming in. No draft beer, only bottles and cans, no music, lakadaisical staff and definetly no customer service. We were given our tab as we were handed our beers. Maybe we wanted another one? We weren't even given that option.....sad customer service or lack there of.It's a one and done for us and we definitelywill not be back!

Best lemonade in the county, and the beignets are fluffy and full of flavor, if you decide to go, get the Prickly Pear Lemonade with The Porker

This is one of the most down to Earth, friendly, and respectful places I have been in a long time. The music is ALWAYS great, there is a place to dance, and it is just pure enjoyment! The food trucks all around have a fantastic selection of various types of delicious cuisine. All in all it is a great place to dance, relax, eat and have fun!??

This place was just a random stop for me. With a name like the poor porker, I was expecting something meaty and Hardy and something that oinked. But to my surprise this place makes beignets. I had the traditional and their poor porker which had slivers of gristle and bacon on it. At one point I debated if they sprinkled bacon bits on it because the amount of bacon on the beignet was very unsatisfactory. The traditional beignet was what I expected a sugary piece of bread but overall the venue is clean good vibed and a great place to take family and friends. I am a cactus lover at heart so their cactus decor was out of this world if it wasn't for the Flora and the decor I probably would have ranked this establishment a little different. Also, their selection of beer is very 1994 in the wide variety of craft beer that is in circulation right now you would think a hip place like this would have more assortments and more variety than your standard rolling Rock and Budweiser. Overall my gf and I had a nice outing here I would recommend it for anyone wanting to fulfill a sweet tooth and look at some pretty cactus

The original staff and beignet were better but still worth a visit when in Lakeland's

Beautiful place and super sweet employees. Pet and family friendly. Good place to hang out with friends and family, and great place for events. We had a wonderful time munching on beignets, sipping on sangria, and listening to the wonderful voice of Daniel Pepin! And to top it off, several of the employees are bilingual in Spanish and even Mandarin ?10/10 recommend!!!

I haven't been to The Poor Porker in at least 5 years. It's hard to say it looks a little worn over the 5 years because that is the look they are going for :) That said, we came by around 1 pm and the service was lacking inside. Several people came in, there was no one there, so they left entirely. The Milennials seemed to be camped out in the little camper talking. But, the real reason you come here is for the beignets and they are superb. So 5 stars for those! You can't go wrong stopping in for this sugar high!

Cute Instagram spot, with beignets, tea and coffee.

Super adorable spot with really fresh beignets. They have a few flavors, but the classic powdered sugar always win in my book. Made to order and super delicious!
