My wife and I stopped here for a brunch on the last day of our trip.I ordered the 3 French toast, topped with bananas and whipped cream, side of berries, and a toasted biscuit ( no gravy)..can keep eating that whole day long. One of the best brunches i have ever had.Great staff and very attentive staff. My wife ordered the omelet with Jalapeños in it.....yummy!!!

We visited twice during our stay in Fort Lauderdale. Once for breakfast, and once for lunch. Orietta and the staff were amazing! Excellent service and the meals were delicious! They took extra good care of our littles while we were there as well. Thank you for everything :)

I gave this restaurant five stars not because it’s the best restaurant, but for being true to itself as an unfussy breakfast and lunch joint, that starts to fill up as soon as the door is open at 7AM.Everything is cooked fresh, the coffee is hot, and the servers are super.

Enjoyed a delightful breakfast experience here one Sunday morning. Located slightly off the beaten path, which added to its charm, the ambiance felt authentic and not overly touristy. We snagged a cozy spot on the covered patio upfront. Service was exceptional - prompt and friendly. The restaurant exuded a laid-back vibe, especially outdoors, where it was pleasantly quiet (a huge plus for me!). It's refreshing to find a place where you can unwind and converse without shouting. This cafe embodies my belief that a satisfying breakfast shouldn't break the bank, offering delicious fare at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

I discovered this neighborhood gem of a cafe while vacationing in Lauderdale by the Sea. Friendly vibe and great service by Carolina!! Large selection of breakfast, and brunch items, expertly prepared. Huge portions for a reasonable price. El Mar Cafe is not to be missed. Highly recommend
