Carl's is THE place to go for authentic Jamaican food in southern Florida, HANDS DOWN! I only get to enjoy Carl's once a year when I come to visit, but if I lived here I'd be eating Carl's probably twice a week, no joke! The oxtail with rice and peas with steamed cabbage is the best thing I've ever eaten!

Nasty rude people.The soup was very cold,no meat at all.I call same time they said bring the receipt and come on tomorrow.Never stated to bring back the water of the soup.The rude staff continues to argue with me over the replacement of the soup.She said she only returning the small meat of the soup ,not a complete soup That's so disgusting, unethical and rude.If I never drive so far for my daughter for the festival and jerk chicken.I woulda curse them out proper.Very rude and should not be serving the public food.The coworker stated if there is no meat ,how can she serve it.Terrible disrespectful ?? people who need to be train how to deal with customers.Not respectful at all.They treat customers like crop,and very argumentive,as well.Especially, a so call American who working in a Jamaican restaurant should be train better.Now they loose a long time customer.This was the same reason,I stopped coming because of stale rice and peas. They refused to correct the issue.I got money and she last the curry goat sale for this night as well.

I came here following a horrible experience at another local eatery. Queenie provided us outstanding service. She was not only polite and courteous, but highly resourceful. She gave us an overview of the menu and the best options to select from. We were satisfied and full when we left.

First off when l asked for the price of fried king fish and for one it was way over priced.Second l asked for the price of a mini akee and salt fish he told me 16.49.....Where on earth does anyone charge16.49 for a mini ake3 and salt fish breakfast?I left and called back and asked for the price of a mini akee and saltfish breakfast 13.49 or so l was told this time. So where and why did the guy quote 16 plus dollars is beyond me. Will not be going back ever and also price gouging seems to be happening there. Be careful.
