“Never got to try the Lake Worth location but very glad to see they relocated to Pompano. Food & service were top-notch! They have several fun specialty cocktails, or you can just stick to basics. Some of the best hummus I ever had. "The Mayor" half pound Angus burger was a pretty great size, very juicy & flavorful (devoured before me thinking to snap a pic). Sadly, I didnt get to try their tots due to their oven not working since recent power outtage issues, but will surely be back! Also, Drag Bingo was a blast and the decor is beautiful!“
“My partner and I visited Checkers Old Munchen while on vacation to Pompano. We stumbled upon this hidden gem on accident and could not be more grateful we did! We were informed that Thursday is "ladies night," so I received half-off. Staff was accommodating, friendly and allowed us to enjoy a wonderful dinner together. The atmosphere and decor truly encompasses a German spirit. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.“
“Friendly staff. Very good brews corresponding to various different styles. We had a dark beer, a sour beer, one that was like a beer version of a Port, and a cider.Food was also really flavorful and good sized portions. We had the beef on weck and a mushroom pizza.Order is at the bar and then they bring the food to the table you select.“

“Had been craving New England seafood for months (specifically fried whole clams, not just strips) and Kelly's did NOT disappoint. The service was fantastic as well.Made a special trip on Thursday 3/21/24 specifically for the Lobster Mac & Cheese (not pictured, because I devoured it) but again the food and service (Heidi T) were top notch. I was able to get all my favorites, the aforementioned Lobster Mac, Boston Baked Beans, Brown Bread and Fried Whole Belly Ipswich Clams, with fried shrimp, scallops, scrod, and who can forget those delicious onion rings. The homemade tartar and cocktail sauces are just what this transplant from Salem, MA needed to feel at home (without the expense of flying home).“

“Update: things are still amazing. We visited today and JC was awesome. He was very attentive and the drinks are still supreme.Drinks are awesome. Staff is very friendly even if it's not their table or area. The food is okay (nothing awesome but not bad). I never come here looking for food. Consistently good vibes though so I'll keep returning. The happy hour menu is decent too“
