I swung by Curry Cafe in Lauderhill for a taste of some Indian flavors, and here's the lowdown. The place was pretty basic, nothing fancy, but cozy enough to enjoy a decent meal. The staff was friendly, offered recommendations and the service was good too. We were the only ones in the restaurant though! Now, onto the grub: the biryani was alright, but it leaned more towards pulao vibes than the rich, aromatic biryani I was craving. The chicken channa curry was tasty but a bit of a letdown. It was on the salty side and the garam masala was overpowering, drowning out the other flavors. On the upside, the naan was on point - soft yet crispy, just the way it should be. But oh man, the gulab jamun was a disappointment. Tasted like it was straight out of a store and just heated up, missing that homemade touch.Overall, Curry Cafe is okay if you're in the area and craving some Indian eats, but manage your expectations. There are hits and misses, so choose wisely!Kid-friendliness: Yes

This family-owned restaurant was fantastic! Everything was made from scratch; it felt as though we were being served at the family’s home table. The service was exceptional. We had three vegetarian dishes and the naan basket. Portions were a reasonable size for the price and really tasty! We hope to bring family members who also love Indian food with us next time.
Great food! We got the mix thali and it was a perfect amount of food for lunch. Waitress was wonderful and checked in when needed. We took two children and they sent out extra naan for them. The cook came out to check on the food. Great restaurant!
