“10/20/23 - second try: ordered 2 × red velvet waffles; wings lunch special with hazel sauce, fries, sprite; wings lunch special with lemon pepper sauce, fries, and Dr. Pepper. Food was good, fresh, and hot but... red velvet waffles - dry (not craving waffles from here anymore ?), soaking it in the syrup didn't help either; didn't know wings came with it since it's not in the description like it is under the Belgian waffles; wings that came with the waffles were more flavorful than the wings lunch special; hazel sauce was good ??? (elevated those wings and the fries); ketchup not used to that color or taste, preferred to use the hazel sauce instead; fries were very soft, mushy after touched (better for teething babies); lemon pepper sauce was pure grease; no Dr. Pepper - was substituted with another drink. Thanks for refunding the alkaline water ?. Is there a way to temporarily remove what's out of stock on the online menu? GrubHub driver: professional, punctual, very friendly with effective communication. Hopefully a third time will be the charm. We'll see in the near distant future...10/03/2023: I was a bit apprehensive to order since I've never really heard of this place. I had a craving for chicken and waffles and Hazel's Brunch Bar had fair pieces. The GrubHub driver was punctual and professional. Received my food fresh and hot. The food is absolutely delicious. I wanted more chicken than waffles. I'll keep that in mind when ordering in the future. Thank you.“
“This is the best meatless, dairy free soul food that I have tasted. The food was delicious, nutritious, and great size portions. I got the Soul Bowl and it was literally my lunch and dinner. Trying to post pictures but it won't let me.“
“The food here SLAP. I only gave 4/5 stars because I went an hour after they open and 75% of the menu was not ready. The macaroni gratiné musta came from Orlando cause he said it was being brought in and 2 hrs later it still wasn't there, but when I got my hands on it ouuu yassss baby it was good. Flavorful griot!! I made love to that plate lol. I was beyond happy!!! . Service was pretty quick. I can't wait for them to blossom and grow and have more locations cause them folks throw down in the kitchen like I do .“

“This restaurant is amazing! The food is always incredible, live music nightly, beautiful décor, fresh flowers and excellent service! The owners are very hands on make you feel at home!We have been going there for over 25 years and we are pleasantly surprised on each visit!“
“I'm addicted to their spaghetti. Haitian spaghetti is the only way I can eat it now. I always order it when I'm in the area. I also order it right before I fly out and take it with me. The portion is big, so it is definitely something you will eat from again. Simply delicious.“
“This location is where the Eclair Affaire bakes all of their pastries. It is located in warehouses in Davie off of State Rd 84. The first time I came here they were only baking but they have since added a case where they sell some of their items. For the full Eclair Affaire experience with coffee and tables you have to visit their Weston location. This is strictly take out so no ambiance. I first tasted their eclair's in a food hall in South Beach. An eclair is a pastry made with choux dough filled with a cream and topped with usually a chocolate icing. The dough, which is the same as that used for profiterole, is typically piped into an oblong shape with a pastry bag and baked until it is crisp and hollow inside. The filling is then pipped in. I can't say I have ever been a fan of this particular pastry but that all changed once I tried an eclair from the Eclair Affaire. What sets apart the Eclair Affaire pastries is their creativity and artistry. Here you will find eclair favors like guava, coffee, coconut, tres leches, German chocolate, chocolate, tiramisu, vanilla, and their newest flavor Baklava. They also sell petite cakes, brownies, muffins, bread pudding, cake pops, and cookies. An eclair is pretty pricey, around $5 each but they are little works of art and they package them so beautifully on gold plates. The experience of eating one begins visually before you even taste it. Once you bite into one and hit the filling you are transported to culinary heaven. I ordered the coconut topped with a little white chocolate and the coffee eclair topped with a chocolate cocoa bean. They set me back 10 dollars and about five pounds. It is probably better for me that they aren't cheaper because I can put away a few. The nice young man helping me told me his favorite is eclair is pina colada which they didn't have here that day but I am sure I would love it too. He also recommended that I go to Weston where they also sell savory eclairs like those filled with smoke salmon, tuna salad, caprese, mushroom, ratatouille, and a shepherd's pie eclair. Oh my, they have taken the humble eclair to a whole new level! It is definitely on my short list of places to visit.“
“Excellent dining experience for "foodies" in particular--lots of taste sensations and nuanced preparations, perfectly plated. Put Kitchen on your "must try" list. There's much to extoll here, with a few minor quibbles. Homey yet chic atmosphere, and a lovely curbside patio dining area (short wait at the simply decorated bar before being seated inside, great corner table for four). Noise level is surprisingly low for an overall intimate space. Very professional and eager to please wait staff. Dinner was nicely paced, never felt rushed. Drinks are amply poured, though a tad pricey, as is the interesting and well chosen wine list. Consider bringing your own special bottle of wine for a nominal corkage fee, as we did. Excellent stemware. But it's all about the food! Standout appetizers included the charred crab cake; ahi tuna; and crispy eggplant/roasted peppers/burrata. "Fish of the day" branzino, seared scallops, chicken schnitzel, and the "special" duck breast entrees were each outstanding! While some other reviews mention "small portions", we did not find this the case. In fact, too full, we four shared one sizable coconut cake...off the charts! Chef-owner Matthew Byrne is certainly worthy of his many accolades. We wish him continued success--much deserved. Go! Enjoy! D. Slater, Boca Raton“
“I stumbled upon this gem by accident. And omg I have a new favorite restaurant. It's a small place not really a dine in but the food is phenomenal ?I didn't need to add any seasonings or condiments. Was perfect as is. For a second I thought I cooked it lol.Price is right. Can't wait to get time to get back on that side of town.“
“Nice lil’ breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. We came here for brunch. The gentleman behind the counter was hilarious ? There’s no where to sit in here so we couldn’t dine in technically. However, there some picnic like table just right outside . It was a really nice day we ordered our food and ate it outside. Food was hot and fresh. The cheesy grits were *chefs kiss* Will be back again. I wish there was indoor seating . When we were leaving the gentleman said “hope you enjoy and if not I guess y'all not coming back!” ?Too funny“
“Exceptional customer service. Great ambiance and music. The chicken wings and sauce was delicious. The fried shrimp were acceptable.I wasn't fond of the other dishes (fried fish, Yams, rolls, Mac & Cheese balls and Mac and cheese).I am very picky eater so try them for yourself.“

“This is the worst place on the planet, where you have to beg for a glass of water and the bar attender gives you the worst attitude and refuse to give you water. A freaking water!!! She ignores everything you ask, she doesn’t even bother to look at you!!! How?? Why??? Never in my life I have experienced something like this! Please, if you are not happy working there then you need to quit!!! Management, you are loosing customers there! You guys are in customers service business!!! I will never go back there to be disrespected again!! Neither should anyone!“
“So I had a long day, I was outside in the hot South Florida sun for at least 7 hours at The Central Broward Park. My friend saw this placed and we went in. I was not in "food critic mode" so I didn't take pictures, but when I tell you the food was bussin'?! Believe me. I was doing my happy food dance and my hunger was thoroughly satisfied. I got a potato with steak, mushrooms, onions, and peppers. The potato was softy and perfectly cheesy, the steak and mushrooms were seasoned and cooked to perfection, the onions and peppers were caramelized, and a hefty portion of meat was on my plate. It was the comfort food that I needed. It was like Shepherds Pie on steroids! If you're a potato person (fries, tots, mashed, etc) you have got to come here. The place is family run and they were very sweet and professional. It was clean, welcoming, and the food was good. I love to find good "mom & pop" places.“
