My first time at this place. My husband comes all the time. Now I feel betrayed. Amazing soul/comfort food. The fried chicken was just like my mothers, and that is saying something. Outstanding home cooked southern or soul food. A little hard to get to because of road construction but well worth the trouble.Parking: Enter off the side street, go through the parking lot. Turn left towards the address. It's worth the trouble.

Absolutely amazing food, and wonderful atmosphere. My husband and I came in and got the smothered pork chops and chicken tenders, and an assortment of sides. The collards, yams, and potato salad stole the show, and the pork was so tender, and the perfect consistency. The gravy was savory, and perfectly seasoned.
