We have come here 4 separate times and they will not sit over 4. The restaurant has the appeal as though you can pull up and dock and eat but that could not be further from the truth. As locals there are so many better options and this will no longer be an option of ours. It’s disappointing as this appears as a great option but if you’re visiting this would be last choice. Mar vista next door as well as any other option would be a better choice. I wish this restaurant would do better with their options as a lot of people coming off the water would be willing to spend good money but they treat you like second hand citizens.

I wanted to be able to give a higher rating as the food, the location and overall vibe here is amazing. An art deco culinary experience in one of the most serene settings in Florida. However, the service staff, in particular our server was beyond terrible. A foul attitude and no professional server skills whatsoever. From the fact that she never asked my wife and I if we wanted another drink, to not giving us a kids menu even though we came with our 18 month old.The restaurant has a beautiful waterfront walkway and so my wife and I went to take pictures. Instead of understanding that this is common for guests to do, our server thought we were leaving entirely and chased us down. Why don’t toy worry if we have enough to drink or are ordering dessert instead of thinking we were just leaving.To the management, you need to address a cancer to your business with servers like this. Just terrible and if we’re do go back I worked refuse to be served by this amateur with a terrible attitude and no ability to understand what professional hospitality means.

I love the restaurant food is very good , atmosphere so do beautiful if pp love seating by water sunset is perfect time if owner using space to open sunrise for breakfast is perfect.. if you are salad or grouper sandwich my friend love it super fresh.. Ceviche is too sour also chip for dip we got too salty However I got BEST WAITRESSES IN TOWN super nice she is fast , understand what cust needs and so friendly I want her all the time that I been there… every single dish there is good like they put thought and love in only salad if u not on sour lover ask them be gentle on dressing.. my most favorite is lump crab meat “salad if you from up north you will love itVegetarian options: Salad.. and other depend on are you religion or nonParking: It is good side however you got valet so worry free u can tip whatever no charge
Came in last night on our 4th trip to longboat .. usually we go to another spot near the beach (wont mention the name ) .. On our last visit there the service was not up to par as we usually really enjoy it. We were looking for another restraunt to eat dinner and shore came up on Google maps so we decided to try it out. We had a wonderful time.. the view was amazing . The moon was so bright over the water and the environment was wonderful. Our server John was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Best service we've had in a while ! I think we will be changing up our itinerary next trip and switching our favorite place to dine to SHORE ! Totally exceeded our expectations!!

Whenever I entertain visitors, my go-to restaurant is usually Shore Longboat Key, thanks to its ambiance, stunning views, and irresistible truffle fries! I would highly recommend reservations and don't forget to request a table near the water.
Beat restaurant on longboat key!!! You need a reservation and don’t be surprised if you need to valet the car. They have a cute home decor shop inside. You can also park you your boat at the dock!!! We had a water front view and amazing food. To die for!!! Drinks were delicious and the staff were super personal. Also, you can get a get view of space X launches from the water front tables. Oh and the best part, the wildlife!!! We saw an 8 foot shark and huge groupers. Best place on longboat key!!!

My wife and I come in multiple times a month during lunch and valet. We always take care of the valet and servers. On March 14th we pre ordered a meal to pick up at 11:15 am and then boarded a boat we had rented. We also used valet and told the valet that we were going to be back at 5 pm and have dinner after we were done on the boat. The valet said no problem and asked for 20 dollars. We gave him 25 dollars and proceeded to go to the boat with our belongings. When we arrived back at 5 pm I stopped at the valet stand to get the key to put back our bags back from the boat. I was stopped by the “owner” which I never asked who he was. He told me I was not allowed to valet and go out and on a boat. I explained to him that the valet working said it was no problem. The “owner” then went on to say he was letting me know that it isn’t okay. I told him that is a problem you need to figure out with your employees not me.Not to mention we’ve spent thousands of dollars at the clothing store “shore”.

Today we visited this restaurant around 11 am and had preordered lunch because we had booked a boat charter and our pickup was scheduled for the dock upfront of the restaurant. The valet knew what and why we were there and how long the vehicle was to be parked. Upon our arrival my husband went to store our items in our car when the apparent owner approached him and told him this was not allowed! How as a customer when we paid valet and explained to valet our plan for the day. The so called owner told my husband in a very scolding kind a way that this was not allowed and he proceeded to explain we were not aware! This man was beyond rude and so embarrassing as this was in front of other customers! We have been loyal customers for some time now and for this man to scold us was beyond embarrassing! We truly loved place UNTIL TODAY!!!!!And not to mention the thousands of dollars we have spent at the RETAIL STORE THE SHORE!!!Unbelievable
