Fun local spot for ice cream. Great flavors, like moves quickly, good indoor and outdoor seating options. Check it out if in the area!

12 of us came in at the very end of the night. The crew working had a long day but still managed to provide a truly outstanding experience for us. The ice cream was absolutely exceptional, and the service was perfect. If you are looking for great ice cream, look no further - this is your place.

The ice cream and service was amazing. Lots of different flavors and toppings. We left a money clip there with almost fifty dollars in it. The employees found it and returned it to us! Way to restore our faith in humanity! Would highly recommend. Thank you for doing a great job!

Creamy, ton of great flavors, friendly service, seating inside and out... Don't miss this place.... Ice cream always is the perfect accompaniment to a sunny day... or a cloudy day... or a rainy day...

As others mentioned. It's very convenient, but lacked flavor. Probably won't come back.

A delicious neighborhood ice cream shop with plenty of flavors to choose from. They are open late, which is great if you get a sugary craving after dinner! This time around we tried the chocolate peanut butter which was great if you like reese's cups.

Fun space, great ice cream, great desserts! The chocolate covered key lime pie is excellent, and the portion is a good size. Service was great, and prices were reasonable. We will for sure be coming back!

The only downside to this place is no good outdoor seating, which if you have kids you know they’re gonna make a mess with ice cream. Every flavor we got was delicious and the portions were very generous. The employees were very nice.

The ice cream here is delicious. They have a wide variety of flavors and also have soft serve. The staff is very accommodating. Tyler’s is a must stop while you are on Longboat Key.

If you’re staying on LBK this is definitely the most convenient. It’s ice cream, just not that special. I pretty much picked from the flavors that looked like they hadn’t melted and refrozen eight times in their plastic tubs. A lot of the flavors looked gooey like they had thawed and refrozen a bunch of times. If I could give two suggestions: regulate temps better, put in WAY more mix ins, if people are getting any flavor besides chocolate or vanilla they more often want to get punched in the face with fudge ribbons, peanut butter swirls, etc, not just a hint. Also customer service was Summary: craving an ice cream cone without leaving LBK, solid option… otherwise go into Sarasota or St Armand’s

If you dine next door at the Lazy Lobster you get a discount (I think 10%) to get ice cream from here. That was a nice allure, so after dinner our group came over here. I felt bad for the one worker when we opened the door and in came nine children, with eight adults in tow. He took it all in stride though and did wonderfully serving everyone. I found them to be all your normal flavors and tasted good (I've never found ice cream I haven't liked). Outside they had connect four, so the kids got to play a bit after eating. There are lots of tables and it wasn't busy at all at about 6 p.m. on a Saturday.Parking is plentiful, it's basically a cuter version of a strip mall. I wouldn't go out of my way to get ice cream from here, but if we are at the Lazy Lobster it is a fun after dinner treat.
