Love their pizza ?. It’s been a go to spot for a couple years but I’m just learning that they only serve pizza on certain days. I’ve gotten their authentic pizza several times and never heard that until I called a couple days ago.

Ate here a few days ago and it was so good we actually cancelled our plans at one place and came back. Amazing experience again. Never had whole fish before so got the bronzino. Wow! Crispy skin and flaky moist meat. The best fish I've ever had. My wife had the pesto pasta and like the fish, she said it was the best she'd ever had. Everything was perfect. Even the bread and salad were showstoppers. That's two great meals in less than a week. This is our new go to for our nicer meals out.

Yet another outstanding experience as guests of Chef Chris and his lovely bride Emily. We have fast become super fans of Quality Foods Market and their hyper authentic Italian cuisine. Rarely have I experienced an upscale dining location where I can say categorically that everything I have tried has been fantastic, but that is certainly true in this case. The food and the service are exceptional and the wine selection is unmatched, offering magnificent wines that simply are not available anywhere else in the United States, much less Tampa. When you package all of that in a cozy neighborhood four table top Bistro you have all the ingredients for a perfect recipe of success. We will be back often.

Great experience. Never seen a chef interact with the tables like here. Highly Recommend. Ribeye with truffle butter was out of this world and the salad was the best we've ever had anywhere. Chef picked out the perfect wine for us too. Can't miss place if you haven't tried it or are visiting the area. We'll be back.

Finally! A REAL Italian restaurant. I emigrated to the States ten years ago and my search is finally over for an actual restaurant that tastes like home. I have had BS versions of Carbonara all over this country and when I saw guanciale on the menu I thought I was going to cry I was so happy. The pici was cooked perfectly and actually had some chew to it and the preparation was a good as the best restaurants in Rome. Speaking of pici - it's the first time I've ever seen it on a menu in the US! The whole meal was fantastic and I really enjoyed the Chef visiting the table. I have already made a reservation to come back in a couple of weeks.

When people talk about neighborhood gems, this is the kind of place they are talking about. I always worry about dining out late, like right before a place closes, but the staff didn't miss a beat. I've eaten here a few times with both large and small groups, and each time has been wonderful. I'm no food expert, but I do know quality food and the value of it, and to me, having dined all over Tampa Bay, Chef Chris consistently delivers some of the highest quality food in the area. It wouldn't surprise me to see this place listed in the Michelin guide some day.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever experienced within the United States. I am so impressed on how chef Chris imported products from Italy, and uses the best local farmers for all the other ingredients. If I could give them more than five stars, I would. After dinner service the chef came out and spoke with my husband and I for 30 minutes and it was a phenomenal experience. I would highly recommend.

This is one of the best restaurant experiences I've had outside of Europe. I've had the privilege of dining at Chef's table restaurants around the world, and the experience that Chef Chris provides exceeds all of them. His passion about the food is unparalleled. The presentation is nice, but not elegant. The restaurant itself is very casual and unassuming, much like you'd find throughout France, Spain, and Italy. The service is great. Not quite fine dining service, but the Chef's experience makes up for it. Chef Chris is present and available and very personable. I felt he genuinely cared about me as a guest. Quality is in the name of the restaurant, and that's exactly what you're going to get. I had read a lot about this place, so my party came in ready to order a little of everything, and Chef Chris delivered on every single dish. In fact, the veal chop, clams, and scallops were some of the best we've ever had, anywhere, and the sampling of pastas were easily the best we've had outside of Italy. I'm not about to say this is the best restaurant in the world, but from strictly a food perspective, this is one of the best restaurants in the US, and I would put this in my top 10 dining experiences across the globe.

First time eating here, and it felt like you were walking into a convenient store, but don't let that deter you. Its not inexpensive, but we found the food quality and prep to be superior. If you are wanting a fancy atmosphere, then this may not be your place, but if you want a fantastic meal made with the freshest ingredients then give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Make a reservation as seating is limited. Everything is cooked to order and tasted very fresh. Staff and Chef came to the table several times to inquire about the multiple courses and to explain the history of some of the dishes and the ingredients. They have fresh wine (ie sulfite free) and it was excellent. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we look forward to our next dining experience at Quality Food Market.

I'll begin by saying the usual metrics don't apply when describing the decor at QFM. But it only adds positivity to the dining experience. The owner Chris is an excellent Chef as well as raconteur. The path to his restaurant's kitchen was far from conventional. Ask about it. The Italian Cuisine was excellent created from the finest, freshest ingredients Chris could locate and he looked far and wide .The menu was inspired by 2 years of travel and cooking in kitchens throughout Italy. The sides, pastas, sauces, bread, desserts and meats were excellent. The wine and beer offerings close to limitless. Take a chance on dining in a creative Chef's Culinary Vision. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I have been here multiple times for the fine dining experience, but wanted to try their al fresco patio menu that's not available inside. Since it was outside and a bit chilly I brought a jacket, but didn't need it because there was plenty of heat from their outdoor heater, and they have a shade that blocked off the wind. It was very comfortable. I love on the inside that they have Italian travel tv playing, so I was happy to see that outside as well on a couple of tv's. We ordered three pizzas and they were every bit as good as anything we'd ever had when traveling to Italy and easily better than anything we've had here in the US. Each one had a different fresh cheese and that's exactly how they tasted: fresh. The crust and sauce were amazing too. We're really happy we gave this a try. The inside fine dining experience is one of the best we've had anywhere in the world, with exceptional food and service, and the lighter, al fresco menu featuring real Italian style pizza is just another reason that we think Quality Foods Market is the best restaurant in Tampa Bay, and one of the best anywhere around the world we've traveled.

Went back after two months and ate the pizza... authentic Italian style, definitely not Pizza Hut. It was delicious. But the dessert... wow! The limoncello cake was super good but the pistachio cannolo was outstanding, highly recommended! Crispy, yummy and not overly sweet. Sorry no pics but, Treat yourself!

Excellent meal and service was just as good! The Chef came out and talked to us about upcoming events and even explained how the weather impacts his menu! Every time I go, it's a learning experience!
