We tried this bar because we got tickets to a cover band of Van Halen and wanted to eat while we enjoyed the music. The place was very cool and had an amazing atmosphere. It was incredibly loud, and you couldn't have a conversation, but that was to be expected. What we weren't expecting was that we really didn't enjoy the food as much as we thought we would based on how great the menu looked. I felt that everything we ordered was over-flavored. Now I know that everyone has a different taste profile that they prefer, but this Mac n cheese was so garlicky that it lost its Mac n cheese appeal. I also had some issues with our dinners we selected. We decided on the French Dip and the Cuban sandwich. The Cuban was so smoked that you couldn't taste any of the other flavors on the sandwich. Actually, the only bites of the Mac n cheese I took was to balance out the smokey flavor in my mouth from my bites of the Cuban sandwich. The French Dip was rather disappointing as the bun was not toasted, and for some reason, the au'ju was also very smoke flavored. This dip completely took away from the flavor of the roast beef. It all looked terrific, but I would not order again. All this being said, our waiter was incredible. He was very attentive even though he had a large number of people he was responsible for serving. I will come back and try different dishes to see if it was just the dises we ordered and their other dishes are much better.NOTE: If this review has helped you in any way, PLEASE like this review so it can be elevated faster for them to be informed of how well that they are doing! Food was good. Service was good, way too packed. Difficult to walk between tables. The smell of the kitchen was strong out in the restaurant. The band was good, but acoustics for the place could be better.
We've only recently discovered Fredsters on the recommendation of a friend. Love the laid back rock n roll vibes. It's been pretty packed both times we've been and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Great music, nice wait staff and good drinks and clean bathrooms. Looking forward to our next visit. Who knew there was a gem like this hidden in the business district of Maitland?!

A group of us from work ate here for lunch a few weeks ago. My salmon tacos came out 10 minutes after the other 7 meals and we were the only people in the restaurant. These were some of the worst tacos I have ever eaten. Very small piece of fish and when I picked the taco up the tortilla was so dry all of the fillings fell out of the bottom. I had to resort to eating them with a fork and knife. I can see why we were the only people in there now. I would have sent them back but didn't want to sit and watch everyone else finish their meals while I didn't have any food.

I visited Fredster’s for a team luncheon. The space was good for holding our team. The servers were great at accommodating our large party. I had the salmon salad which was okay. A few people had the BBQ pork pizza which I heard was really good.
