Hands down the best cafe experience I’ve ever had. Russ, Tuesday, and Mike crafted an unforgettable time letting us taste a handful of coffees they had on the lineup. They use some of the most advanced methods of brewing and roasting to produce an incredible product. Will absolutely be back soon!

Nice little shop. Good quality coffee (which they roast in the back area!). Very friendly service. Nice calm/quiet vibe.

KOS is overpriced, understaffed and pretentious. Don't be fooled by the promise of a Norwegian coffee experience. The food was subpar at best and took almost 40 minutes to serve. For a breakfast sandwich... insane. The prices are ridiculous. $40 for 2 coffees and 2 breakfast sandwiches. Staff never even acknowledged the wait time which would imply that this wasn't an irregular occurrence. Too many good coffee shops in the area to waste time and money at this place.Edit: as shown in KOS’s reply below, the wait times are in fact a regular occurrence. And while I might have excused the wait if this were a busy weekend morning, my experience was a Wednesday afternoon with hardly any other customers present. Again, don’t be fooled by the “Norwegian coffee experience”. It’s simply an excuse for excessive wait times and even more excessive prices.

Unfortunately, was super excited to enjoy breakfast with my coffee this morning with my husband at KOS. Coffee was wonderful, however, it was all downhill from there with our experience due to the wait time and food. We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out, then unfortunately my husbands food came out incorrectly. There was no way we were waiting another 30 minutes, my husband touched the food and gave it back to the server. Then the lady served the same sandwich to the guest next to us so he didn't have to wait. I guess he was okay with a touched sandwich. Very unfortunate, but we won't be back due to the food and service although the coffee was good.

Loved the porch for pups! Very nice baristas and everyone was so courteous, it's a hidden gem in Maitland for sure! I want to try the waffles next time.

Iced coffee is my preferred coffee of choice and the cup (actually two-thank you) I had at KOS was delicious! Cute place to get some work done while in town. And these kindest people working there. They make everyone who steps foot in their shop feel like home.

I took a coffee roasting class at KOS. I have to give kudos to Tuesday who taught the class. I’m new to coffee roasting and the class was very informative and she clearly explained the whole roasting process to a newbie like me. I would highly recommend KOS if you’re embarking on a roasting hobby or business!

I have had this place on my radar and have been wanting to try it. Today was the day! And boy what a treat! When you walk in, it’s very cute and quaint and clean and inviting. Minimal seating, and very simple decor, but you are greeted with a smile. For those of you who follow me know that I am a coffee lover and I’m always seeking out craft coffee spots to try. So the pronunciation of this place is actually kosh, it is Norwegian. My coffee was delicious with some fruity undertones to it, which was interesting, because I typically order cappuccinos with almond milk and powdered cinnamon. It was a delightful treat. I did not order any food. However, I saw them serve a bagel with lox, and it was so pretty. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to going again.

This is my favorite spot, took me awhile to find my coffee shop, but this is my "third place" for sure. Best beans, food, people, natty wine. What more do you need?Kid-friendliness: Lots of families come in and out, right next to a Jeremiah's and a dojo lol

My new favorite coffee place! The coffee is outstanding. The service is fast and friendly. The space is cute and clean. So happy they are in our neighborhood.

I wish I had pictures but this was a quick stop so that the wife could get coffee and we were legit 3 minutes away. Had no idea this was tucked into this plaza. Wife says the place is gorgeous inside. She loved her avocado toast and I loved my waffle with Nutella and strawberries but we did slight gawking at the final price for everything which happens a lot these days. She wasn't thrilled with the service unfortunately but good food makes up for a multitude of things. Will we go back? Yeah, of course we will.

My partner and I love trying new local coffee spots and were excited to try Kos based on previous reviews. It was perfectly average as far as coffee goes. For having two shots of espresso in their 12 ounce latte, it did not taste very strong. I was also very underwhelmed by the sizing of the waffle. Having worked in restaurants before, waffles are one of the cheapest items on the menu to make. At a 9 dollar base price, I was expecting much more volume than what I received. We spent a total of 46 dollars (including tip) for two people for two coffees, a waffle, and the full send. The indoor seating area was quite loud with the electronic music playing, so we opted for the quieter outdoor seating option. My partner and I regularly attend music festivals and had no problem with the music genre here, just the volume.

My partner and I make a point to regularly try new cafes, and I was looking forward to trying this one after seeing all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, we did not feel it lived up to what we hoped for.The pricing on their website menu is not up to date, and I spent $47 for two lattes and two small breakfast items including tip. I ordered the full send and they forgot to include the mayo, and while the espresso my vanilla ube latte was burned, it was not bad overall. The atmosphere was uncomfortable as we had come hoping to read and plan an upcoming trip, we could not sit inside due to the volume of the music.

Stopped by today to grab a coffee after seeing the good reviews. Very disappointed. The regular hot 12oz vanilla latte is $8 after $1 tip. The coffee tastes just ok, too sour and a little bitter than other coffee places for sure. Doesn't worth the price in my opinion.
