The owner was extremely rude to us and the food was mediocre.Edit: I picked up a haphazardly strewn newspaper off a dirty table with intent to read it while waiting for food. I placed a completely dry water bottle on it to prevent it blowing away, as evidenced by the lack of moisture on the paper afterwards.For this great crime, I was yelled at, belittled, and insulted. Perhaps, the owner should refine their definition of “display”, or provide multiple copies of an article they wish customers to read, or laminate it. There was no indication it was anything other than an abandoned newspaper, certainly nothing to indicate it worth being yelled at over.And this could have been forgivable if the food had been impressive. But it wasn’t.Our neighboring table also experienced poor customer service. Waiting 30 minutes for a gyro the cashier forgot to ring up and then was offered nothing in the way of apology.

A few Vegetarian options, the Caprese Pressed Sandwich was amazing but not worth $10. Houndstooth Reuben is pretty good, lots of meat. Was still hungry afterwards.

No need for a lengthy review here. This place is an absolute gem!Everything we got, was excellent. I live 20 minutes away and yet I fear I will be driving here weekly!Give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed!

Highly recommend trying this restaurant. Outside seating, very comfortable. Food is delicious ?. Ruben sandwich has tender meat and a tasty sauce! Tomato soup has a light and refreshing flavor. Friendly staff.

This one my first time having Houndstooth! Randomly found it via google search because I was craving a sandwich. The sandwich was SO good. Very fresh, delicious food. Super clean and chic space. I love it! Not a lot of seating but that doesn’t bother me since it’s in an area that will have an abundance of outdoor seating (which I prefer). I definitely will be going back again and again. :)
