This was the first time my wife and I visited Teak Neighborhood Grill. We always see it while we are in the area, but decided to stop by for lunch today. The place feels like your typical sports bar with a large menu of mules and local craft beers.I was in the mood for a burger, and my wife wanted a sandwich. The variety of burgers at this place is insane and I do enjoy their clever names. I went with the Harry Carey burger, and my wife went with the grilled chicken sandwich. Both items were fantastic. We also ordered the pretzel appetizer and again, the pretzels were soft, warm, and fluffy.One thing special to note is their $51 challenge where you have 45 minutes to eat a monstrosity of a burger, but if you succeed, you get to be placed in the wall of fame, or if you fail, you get to be placed in the wall of shame! Those that succeed apparently get their challenge free, but I couldn't even imagine trying.Parking: I got lucky finding a spot right next to the restaurant, but I can see parking being a problem when it's busy.

This place is EXCEPTIONAL! I come here quite often and tonight I was like I have to write a review. It does NOT disappoint. I have never order something I didn’t like. The food is soooooo good and affordable. We had Isaiah serving us tonight and his service was just as good as the food. I will continue to come here and recommend to everyone.

Food always been great just not the service. Guess this place is a bar after all, not really a restaurant quality service. We came here in large group before rush hour, place usually empty when we’re there yet the server rarely come check on us. Didn’t take away any of our plate even after brining out dessert. Also sever didn’t even bring out our food, yelling out the order trying to figure out who order what. Parking is terrible due to tenants parking in teak’s parking spots. How do I know this? Place was empty yet Teek’s parking was completely full. We came here at 4pm and 6pm several times and only once got service which that time we sat outside. Poor service every time we sat inside. Last time we were there manager wanted to check on our cause two of us clearing the table putting all the dirty dish on another table.

Just went again today for lunch and as always had a great time. They were busy but I could tell that the staff was hustling. I got the pesto pasta and it was DELICIOUS!! Found out they have a trivia on Tuesday nights so we might come back tonight for that!AMAZING food! The pierogis are out of this world. So many TV’s for football and such a great vibe! Try their Cookies n Cream Martini!

The food here is good but not really super special or anything. The burger choices all sound interesting but I found that most of them had a key ingredient included that I would just not want so it would negate ordering it without it. Service is nice and friendly but sometimes slow, even when little to no other people are in the restaurant. Overall I think Teak is overrated and worth a try once but I’ve been three different times over the years and am never really impressed.

Really bad service. All of the servers seemed like pissed teenagers forced to be there. Literally the guy that brought out our food was in pajamas, and i’m not joking. Our waitress was extremely inattentive. it took over 20 mins just for appetizer to come out, and i’d understand if it was busy, but it wasn’t even close. Our waitress wasn’t even the one to bring it out. We ordered our food, I asked a question about the menu and she was deadass like “um yeah I think they have cheese inside??” as if she was almost asking me the question back, and i just sat there waiting for anything else, but that was the end of her sentence, i had no idea what to respond with, but going from that, i obviously didn’t order that option. Anyways, ate the appetizer, it took another whole 50 minutes for our food to come out. And like I said, if it was busy that’s fine, but it wasn’t. Or if there was a problem with the kitchen, a decent server would come and check on the customers, let them know the kitchen was backed up, offer to take plates/ refill drinks. nope. We kept on looking around wondering where she was, and we’d see her come in from outside, get on her tippy toes to look over the wall to see us, we’d make eye contact, and then watch walk off numerous times. Our finished appetizer plates were sitting there and after a while, started to smell. She came over finally a little over the 40 minute mark, when it was far too late to make up for anything asked if we needed refills. Like she’s completely unaware of how long the food is taking, and how long she took. She began to take off and we had to ask her to take the plates. Then a couple minutes later, my side salad finally came out from the dude in the pajamas, he hardly even acknowledged us and just put the bowl down and walked off. using a dirty dish rag to carry out every single plate may i add, He honestly seemed zooted out of his mind so that could’ve be why.And at last, our food came out by once again, not our server. Hardly any customer service from the three people that wasn’t our server running her food for her, and not even an apology or acknowledgement to the issue. For real if we got something from any of them, saying sorry. It wouldve been fine. but oh my gosh the lack of any care in the world to just try and make anything right, there was no hope. Our server didn’t come out until we were half way done to see how “everything was tasting” like servers do. She just said she didn’t even realize the food came out. In which we were forced to awkwardly make her feel better about it.Always feel bad about tipping bad, but at least she got tipped at all. food was good though.

Food was okay, but it took about 1.5 hours and came out well done instead of medium rare.So then it was another 15 minutes. Then 10 for the checks, and between giving our cards and getting them back it was another 20 minutes.That much time waiting makes it hard to give a good review.

This restaurant was a must go at maitland area. We were used to enjoy the music and night life at this place. The racing of the prices and decreased the quality of the food, and the wait time (40min for a burger)makes us take this place out of our hot date night dinner. On top of that, if you don’t carry cash you get charge and extra fee for using your credit/debit card.We are really disappointed.
