“This cute restaurant was amazing from start to finish. It is reservation only, but once you call you will be introduce to Michele who is the definition of amazing service. When you arrive, Michele will greet you and be your server. She will make you feel like you’ve been a regular there for YEARS. The food is amazing and have huge portions. It was loaded with so much flavor and you could tell that it was all homemade. Chef Z mans the kitchen himself!!! We got the lavas bread with haydari and sautéed eggplant for an appetizer and the bread was so good fresh out of the oven that we couldn’t resist eating it all! For an entree we split the Feta Cheese Pide and the Iskender Kebab. The pide is a Turkish flatbread with the cheese baked in (kind of like a pizza meets a calzone) and the Iskender kebab had delicious sliced lamb on top of seasoned bread with a tomato sauce and dallop of yogurt. We had to take about half home. For dessert we had baklava that literally melted in your mouth. One of our new places to frequent.“
“Give this place a try! Warm, friendly staff, good food, simple, relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of seats. I didn't have much in the way of expectations when we went, as I had never heard of the place, just found it on a whim, and we were all so glad we stopped by. Everyone loved their food and sweet, friendly conversation with the person who served us, maybe the owner? We will definitely be back. Check them out!! “Happy that Shiraz Market is holding it down with delicious food. I highly recommend this establishment. We have never been disappointed with anything aside from having enough room to eat more lol. I heard that with advance notice they will make a lamb dish that we have really been wanting to try. This place definitely is a hidden gem in this area.If you like Mediterranean food than you will enjoy this place. Most notably, and a marker for us as a solid food service establishment, is they know how to COOK. You'd be surprised how often that very important thing can be overlooked by many establishments. I like the food service and market combo as well, that is classic, but not common enough these days.Food is everywhere, cuisine is here. Don't sleep on this market for making some amazing food, in fact I've yet to visit the market in person, so I can tell you that it is delicious when delivered and that IS another mark of quality ingredients and preparation that they should be proud of.We keep saying we're going to try different things, but we can't help but order the same assortment of dishes each time- meat gyro, a couple lavash, 2 roasted pepper dishes, the no. 4 chicken and rice platter with the classic sides like tabbouleh and the yogurt cucumber (mast o khiar) and baba ganuosh.It's delicious!Thank you.“
“The place is nice , very small and under staff . Our table waited about 20 minutes to get the drinks . The only thing that made us not walk out to the other Turkish was the customer service . The waitress was nice and sincere when she told us I’m by myself , she did her best .“
“Food was great, we enjoyed our meal and I thought the food quality was pretty good - I am always leery of bacon quality when I order it in a meal these days, but it was pretty decent! The service was not the best, it took a while for them to bring us menus, and when they brought us water there were tons of hard water stains all over the glass. This isn't really a problem per se, but it wasn't really the best presentation. We received our food quickly but never saw our server again after that - we did go to the counter to relay what our order was and pay, which was relatively painless, just unexpected. Overall, the food was good and we may come back for more of it in future.“
