Only come here to get Curry Goat plates they it's absolutely delicious. But the other meals are very under seasoned and hardly tastes like authentic Jamaican food. Had the worst jerk chicken I ever ate in my life and paid $17 for the plate. I'm so upset rn. NEVER AGAIN. Like I said great curry goat and it's affordable but anything else STRAIGHT to the garbage. It's insulting to island people that someone would make food like this with no passion or love. You don't taste the love in the food man. It's just not right.

The food is over priced and the portion sizes are not worth what they are charging the patrons. Their fritters are decent, however, went there last week and was sold burned fritters. On top of that it tasted like the oil wasn't fresh when they were fried. I used to frequent Donna 's in years past, however, with their poor customer service and food quality it'll be a while before I patronize their Margate restaurant. They need to revamp their staff starting with some of the management staff!!!

I ordered a medium soup and ask the lady if there was food in it and her answer was yes, only to get home and nothing but a few pieces of meat, why not tell me the truth and let me decide if I just want soup broth or not. This is the 2nd time I have been to that location and both times I was disappointed. I will never go back to that location again

I have ordered about 4 to 5 times and each time the food was not the best. However, I believe in second chances, so I thought I would give it another try. I ordered the j*** chicken and a brown stew snapper. Unfortunately, the food was not good, again. As a Jamaican, I expected flavor and this was flavorless. If I had my eyes closed I would not know that I was eating rice and peas or j*** chicken. Tasted like unflavored baked chicken and the fish was no better. My 15-year-old daughter used ketchup to give it some flavor. I called the store, not to get back a refund, but to inform them about the food. She didn't seem so concerned, so I decided to write the review. I have never called to report my dissatisfaction, but I was compelled because I had ordered multiple times hoping that the food would improve. I will not be purchasing at this store again.

We arrived to visit family and they recommended Caribbean food in Margate. We ordered the oxtail dish and the brown stew chicken. My hubby and myself loved the oxtail, the brown stew was okay, rice was okay and the cabbage okay. Service was friendly and food is pre - made so there's very little waiting. A nice spot especially after a nice drive.

Most of the time I've been ordering my meals to go. It's very busy on location but I do like the oxtail and stew peas the most.

Service is soooooooo unbearably slow in this place, and they are mask Nazis two years into Covid. I guess we are expected to just wear masks forever now.
I love their oxtail and husband loves their stewed chicken but holy hell the service is always ungodly slow. They definitely take island time to another level but we always just keep coming back because the food is delicious and the price is just right. We got the j*** chicken once and it was just a bit dry for us. We just stick with the oxtail and stewed chicken and love their slaw when they do have it. Most of the time they don't but def ask for it and get the slaw in place of the salad, it'll be a nice treat for your palate. It's not the Mayo based slaw like most places. Adds a nice acidic note to the heavy platter.

I am very disappointed, I bought a stew chicken and the chicken is dry and tough. I paid $14 for that! It has been reheated so many times that you can't even chew it! I'm really upset . I had to throw it to the garbage. It was today 9/3/21

I'm gonna give her two stars because the food is good but the customer service is honestly h questionable. I noticed that this place is honestly kind of a rip off. For the amount of money you pay for your play it is ridiculous. And also if you are not Haitian or Jamaican you will not receive the same treatment or portion size as somebody who was. I'm Hispanic it's not like I'm white or anything but still literally the person ordered before me was treated better and even asked if she wanted her extra rice or salad and right after her I wasn't asked anything n jus skimped. They're very nice and they are don't get me wrong and the food is good but I just feel like the amount you get for $20 is honestly kind of ridiculous. It's mostly rice. They took away the small portion size so you sort of have to pay for the $20 medium size which really isn't that much meat... good taste no doubt tho.

There was a long line out the door for a reason!!! Waited 20 minutes and then had true homemade Jamaican magic.It was awesome. I had curried goat that fell off the bone and was so delicious. Whole family enjoied the food. Don't look at the line with dispair... it's worth the wait.
