Went here for Valentine’s Day and had a great time! The sushi here, especially the yellowtail, was some of the best sushi I have ever had. Their Pad Kee Mao and Thai tea were also top-notch. The owner of the restaurant was extremely kind.

Awful awful customer service. I'm new to the area and looking for a good to sushi place. I called twice to place an order earlier tonight. The first person I called couldn't understand me and just hung up. I called back to try to order and was again in a quiet place and they hung up on me again. After that I couldn't get through. I can't imagine how they treat their customers in person. It shouldn't be this much work to order food. I'll never try again at Nakama!

I work in the plaza and this business has been through many owners and management teams. Bobo has been the absolute best since she took the helm about 6 months ago. She and her staff are very responsive, quick, and attentive to detail. She memorized my usual order in only a couple of weeks and she’s always so excited to see my employees and I when we eat with her. The enthusiasm she brings to work every day is positively contagious. Sometimes I order from there just because I know she will make us all smile. Thank you again, as always Bobo!

I feel bad writing this since they're a small business but I think it's responsible to do so. We went on a Friday evening after reading reviews here - we like a small, hole-in-the wall place and reviews were decent. Very busy, lots of takeout, lots of tables taken. 30 minute wait for 2 despite empty tables. While waiting i realized there was only one server and one sushi chef. Lots of empty, unbussed tables. Poor server running around like a mad person but with a smile on her face. Lots of people left due to the wait. We did as well but moreso due to the mess that was inside and likely wait for food. I know staffing is an issue in many places but they need to figure this out before we'd ever return.
