You went there and it was closed, you never tried the food or experienced the service, but quick to put them down and try the other spot 4 mins away. Do me a favor an try them when their open because that spot 4 mins away was bought and sold 4 times already! Shalamas has been owned and operated by the same people for 25 plus years. They must be doing something right

Drove 30mins to this place during their regular business hours. At 2pm on a Tuesday. And they were CLOSED when we got there. No notice on the door, just closed. I feel like that’s very unprofessional and inconsiderate of your customers. The same customer that help keep your lights on and business flowing. Smh. We searched for another restaurant close by and there was one called D Trini Spot 4mins away. We went there instead and happy we did. They had great customer service and amazing aloo pie & doubles.

The food here is great especially the doubles. Friendly fast service. I've taken Wisconsin cheese for the owner and his wife, because they are my Trini people. ONE LOVE ❤️

This place is one of the best Roti shops in South Florida, hands down. We tried this place, and though we arrived a little late and close to the closing time, the staff was very accommodating. They made sure we had everything that we wanted, and even made some of the items fresh for us. We will return.

Today I visited at 3:34 pm I ordered Beef bus up shot s term used in Trinidad I bought a bottle of Paula's Channa I bag of preserves I packet of coconut fudge Taste Great composition Roti is rather soft and flakey like a real Trinidadian would make it Two doubles delicious Beef with potatoes - tender and soft and delicious The young man at the shop was very polite and answered politely. He informed the family ( owners were from Aranguez San Juan ) I knew he was from Trinidad because of his pronunciation of the cities. We spoke while his cook prepared the roti), 10 for this Trinidadian roti shop located in Margate Florida . Try them it's worth the drive .

The food was terrible. They had bones in the chicken for a chicken wrap. The roti was a ball of grease. We ask for our money back and they hung up on us. I wish I could have given zero stars.

Their doubles (especially the spicy ones) are addicting, our go to place for Trinidadian food and all around just really good quality food. Also the service is great, everyone is super nice and the vibe of everyone there is awesome. one of our favorite eats in fort lauderdale area
