I happened to be in the area and was super hungry. This place popped up first on google maps so I figured I'd go. I am so glad I did. The lady working owned the sub shop and she was delightful!! The place was super clean and the sandwich was phenomenal. I'm so glad I went and I will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem! Ever since we discovered this place we became addicted. We eat here at least once a week. The Hawaiian, the bbq chicken and bacon, the turkey, the ham . I have yet to not like something from here. The value for the food is amazing! Highly recommend!

WOW ill start there! Im Connecticut originally and we call our subs grinders and they are wrapped in foil. Once i opened the box of my best meatball sub/grinder ever and saw the foil i started to tear up! They sub was amazing , like the meatball was cooked with love not just some thrown together BS. Best Meatball sub in world!

Have been to this shop in years but decided to pop in and grab some lunch/dinner for senior parent last Saturday at opening. Glad I did as the review from my parent was amazing, and kids loved all the fresh baked cookies too. Added a couple of them unexpectedly. Got parent a sub meal deal and updated the chips and the sub to premium. Ran about 11 bucks before tax and tip. The premium sub was their full on meat special sub with multiple cold cuts and fresh fixings. Sub was 6 inches and came with cold potato salad side and soda. Our father said it's the best potato salad he has had in many years. He also could not put down sandwich and ate it all. -- as parents get past 80 it's hard to get them to eat any full meal, so this was a true compliment. Employee working was nice and accommodating. Quick, efficient, and answered all questions with care and resolve. Cannot get any better.

This dad and daughter duo were a pleasure to meet. Everything is made fresh. I loved my sub the bread was so soft and delicious the meat was wonderful. I’ll be a regular moving forward the customer service is a amazing.

I went here based off yelp reviews. The customer service was phenomenal. There were so many options so I bought a sandwich for dinner (Philly) and one for lunch the next day (Reuben). The Reuben was pretty good but Philly, I wasn't a fan. The beef was a bit dry and tough. I'd try something different if I'm in the area again.

Best place in town by far for subs. He even makes the Cuban sandwiches better than Cubans I'd say. But don't take my word for it go and try it out yourself you won't be disappointed!!!!

My FAVORITE local sub shop in Margate!!! Great service, always fast & fresh. They also have specials daily! If you love a great sandwich/sub this is THE place to go around here. I literally eat here 2-3 days a week. 5 stars. All day. Every day. Thank you!!!!

The owner knows very well how to run a good business, and mind you, the food industry is not an easy field to operate in; the resteraunt is always clean, the store front/inside is never bland, never dull, cute signs here and there, and decorations that give off a happy vibe. The menu has bountiful options and wide variety, from subs, to salads, to sandwhiches and even over ten types of different cookies plus very much more! The girl there that I always order and get my food made from is such a sweetheart and never fails to make me smile and the owner is very nice, affable and helpful. My new spot to enjoy good conversation and good food. Shavedway Subs!

I havent forgotten about you Shavedway Subs! I stopped in today to get the Cuban sandwich which is my all time favorite here. I hadnt been here in sometime and its changed owners three times. I met the new owner today who took over the shop in feb of 2021 a month before covid went full swing. Luckily he and the business survived. I love that I can pop in and get a great sub thats made on a griddle presser machine. Not sure what its really called. I have had several other subs but the cuban made with pork and ham and pickles and cheese and mustard is my all time favorite and it was just the way i remembered it. looking for a tasty sub and you are on west atlantic blvd then look to the south and you will find shavedway subs.
