I you in a hurry this is not the place for you. If you want good service this place is not for you. But I have to say food is good.

This establishment is under new management, came recommended by a friend for the burgers, but they stop taking orders at 3:45pm so their hours should reflect that. We were told at 3:48pm after standing in line for about 5 minutes. The lady then told us she would check with the kitchen if they would take our order and they obliged so we were very appreciative, but that is where the positive ends. She noted their inventory truck passed them up this week and they were out of chicken tenders, chicken and pork which we were fine with since we were ordering burgers. There were a few people in front of us so by the time my husband ordered it was about 4pm. We were charged $71 for 5 burgers, 1 hot dog, 4 shakes, a coke and 2 bottled waters. We were waiting a few minutes when the lady came back out and informed us that they only had 3 burgers left so we obliged and replaced 2 burgers for hot dogs. Another couple minutes passed and the lady returned noting they only had 2 burgers, not 3. Mind you, we came for and expected burgers and we would have just come another time had they stood firm to closing time. At that point, we decided we would just come back another time and requested a refund. We had only received the 2 Waters and the coke. My husband then went to the counter to get the refund and the lady told him she was charging us for the hot dogs and 4 shakes since they had already started to make them and my husband said absolutely not. We had not received them and we were now going to have to go somewhere else to feed our family of 6. The lady in the kitchen then proceeded to yell back at my husband that they we had to pay for the food they started to make and that she was going to call the cops? I really want to know why a business who promises a consumer items from their menu without checking inventory and inconveniences the consumer thinks that their inconvenience for their own incompetence of not counting what they have in their kitchen can charge me for their stupidity. Mind you, we paid in advance and they never mentioned refunding us for the difference in price of the burgers for dogs. The business was intending to keep my money for goods and services they did not provide and somehow the cops were going to side with them or was that supposed to intimidate us since we are people of color? Is this the type of abuse and intimidation we're supposed to accept now? My husband then did call the lady a "Karen" for her cop threat, but she did in fact call the cops who arrived as we were leaving. The two women then said in order for us to receive a refund we would need to speak to the owner who they proceeded to call on a mobile and hand it to my husband. I was sitting with my children mainly watching most of the ordeal, but then I heard my husband nearly negotiating with the owner that we would pay for part of the bill which we had yet to receive and at this point I was not giving this place any of my money. I do not pay for being treated like a criminal when I in good faith paid for goods you did not have nor provide. I injected that we were requesting a full refund and the lady at the window said that we would now have to take it up with the bank. We left having not consumed one item and they kept the entire amount of the $71 they charged to my card. As we were pulling out of the lot, the sheriff car was pulling in. I was half tempted to report them and see where the police would side, but again, these days that can be a hit or miss depending on who knows who. All I know is I was thoroughly disgusted by the attitude, treatment and lack of accountability at this business and would never recommend it to any human being. I have contacted my card to receive a refund, but that is beyond the point here.

I think the place might be out of business? Sign says "Open DEC 14" but its almost February and sign is still up, with letters falling off. I have not stopped to see, as I heard it went way downhill with the new owner. Beware.

this used to be a favorite of ours. But since it has changed ownership the service has suffered immensely we waited app 10 min to order With no one in front of us. There was only one poor women working. We left. When we arrived two men were waiting for their order. They were still waiting after we left

Nice location to get to the beach. Had an egg and cheese on an everything bagel. They included a sausage on it though I asked that it be omitted. They weren't able to make milkshakes so I got a root beer float instead which was decent. Good amount of parking.

Dynamite fish and chips! The fried fish was marvelous, and the fries were spectacular. The view of the ocean was astounding. The service was immaculate as well. I will definitely be returning to this fine establishment to explore additional entrées and items on the menu.

Second visit here and the staff was not very friendly nor accommodating. You pay first and they ask about a tip. I should have never tipped because the service was unknown at that time and it wasn’t the most accommodating. I ordered and the first half of it the order came out only, said they forgot, then said the fryer was down and that’s why I didn’t get it! So reordered another item, a pulled pork. Flavor did not make up for the wait. Pulled pork was bland and dry. My first visit was totally different. Left a “bad taste” in my mouth literally and figuratively.

Great place to enjoy the beach. Hamburgers are excellent and service is good. They have musicians gather there for jam sessions.

This little spot was excellent! My kiddos chased lizards in the bushes while we waited for our outstanding food! Fish sandwich and Pullex pork- amazing! We grilled cheese*2 and both gobble up with a hot dog and chicken tenders. All was awesome and along with the service!!

No white table cloths but that isn't what Billie's is about. Just some great beach food in a world class location overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. When visiting Melbourne Beach this is a must stop for me. Get up early watch the sunrise on the beach and get a breakfast sandwich at Billie's. My hands down favorite is the Sausage and egg. Not your typical skinny a** sausage patty but a gigunda Italian sausage patty. The sandwich is large enough to split but why do that? The sausage sandwich is also the deal deal and the peppers and onions are on spot. I'm guessing the burgers are just as good. The owner is great and accommodating and the location is amazing. The best beach concession food you'll ever find anywhere! I'll be back

Stopped by on Sunday morning for breakfast sandwiches and they were huge, hot and fresh. Only $4.75 each. Going back for lunch soon.

Five stars for this awesome hidden gem! I always come to this beach so I can get the beach fries! They're the only place in town where you can get actual Maryland boardwalk fries (well close to it). They look like hand cut fries, boardwalk style, they have all the fixings, I eat my fries loaded with malt vinegar, a ton of old bay (yes they have REAL Maryland old bay, not Florida bay) and ketchup. It's amazing!! A must. I've also had their hot dogs, you can get those loaded too with any ingredients you want. I recently got the BLT and it was loaded with bacon and on really delicious bread. I haven't trie their breakfast but they said they have a a good breakfast crowd and are open for breakfast even on rainy days usually 8-1. On sunny days they're open till 430. There are plenty of picnic tables to sit at.

The food and location were excellent. While the burgers and fries were really good, the pulled pork and homemade BBQ sauce stole the show! We ate at one of the picnic tables outdoors and enjoyed the crashing ocean waves and we are.

Had this on my list for some time. The fries were calling me! Only thing is I expected the thicker cut fries as I saw in some pics here on TA from a few years back. Instead they were skinny fries - still good and just made my mouth water, but did kinda want the thicker ones. Anyway, what a fun place to have a casual meal. Picnic tables, shade, ocean, ample parking, or if you are lucky enough, within a beach-walk's distance from where you are staying. I thought the owners were very nice, too. Offered lots of condiments which for me is half the fun. Good prices, good food. If you are visiting this area you should make this your lunch or breakfast stop for sure. Lucky you guys who get to go here more often than me!

Billies is perfect. Got a super large and delicious sausage breakfast sandwich. Hot and fresh. Sitting at table while waves crash nearby. Can't wait to come back. And to hold me over I purchased a pound of pulled pork to go!
