We stopped by a few days ago, on our annual visit from the Chicagoland area, & we were bummed to see Billie’s closed…. Hoping all’s ok at your end! We’ve always had a great meal here, whether the burger w/fries or the breakfast sandwich…. The cheesecake ice cream bar was amazing! Again, hoping all’s well at your end, & if you choose not to reopen, good luck to you in whatever you do! The Kerrs

So apparently Brevard county owns this land. And Brevard county is in charge of deciding who gets to utilize this spot. Billies is no longer here because Brevard county failed to keep up on routine maintenance to save money (even though the owners of Billies had to pay a monthly rental fee - the county never put that money toward the facility). So finally the health department shut down Billies because there was inadequate water drainage and filth backed up inside the building. Now Brevard is trying to do what they were supposed to be doing in the first place and fix the building. Once it is done, they will be back to playing slumlord again to the next victims. And we all know the decision as to who gets to put their business there is always based upon who is best at greasing the palms of our local legislation.

They are closed for renovations still, they have been closed about 6 months .Thought by season they would be reopened

Currently closed for renovations. Reason for the 1 Star is that every time we try to go here they're always closed.

Convenient outdoor kiosk spot by the beach. Been going here for years. Right when you park, close to restrooms, outdoor showers and entrance to the beach. You can get ice cream, refreshments and fried fare before or after the beach. It's convenient and I always like to meet up with friends here as a landmark. Shaded Benches around to eat on. It can get crowded with people coming and going from the beach.

Went here and got weird vibes from the staff and overcooked food. It's convenient but not worth the price. I'm pretty sure the old guy at the counter is racist. My white friend went to get a refill of water and he gave him one with no issues. I went up to get a refill right after and was told I had to pay $2.00. Strange. Won't be back.

I you in a hurry this is not the place for you. If you want good service this place is not for you. But I have to say food is good.

This establishment is under new management, came recommended by a friend for the burgers, but they stop taking orders at 3:45pm so their hours should reflect that. We were told at 3:48pm after standing in line for about 5 minutes. The lady then told us she would check with the kitchen if they would take our order and they obliged so we were very appreciative, but that is where the positive ends. She noted their inventory truck passed them up this week and they were out of chicken tenders, chicken and pork which we were fine with since we were ordering burgers. There were a few people in front of us so by the time my husband ordered it was about 4pm. We were charged $71 for 5 burgers, 1 hot dog, 4 shakes, a coke and 2 bottled waters. We were waiting a few minutes when the lady came back out and informed us that they only had 3 burgers left so we obliged and replaced 2 burgers for hot dogs. Another couple minutes passed and the lady returned noting they only had 2 burgers, not 3. Mind you, we came for and expected burgers and we would have just come another time had they stood firm to closing time. At that point, we decided we would just come back another time and requested a refund. We had only received the 2 Waters and the coke. My husband then went to the counter to get the refund and the lady told him she was charging us for the hot dogs and 4 shakes since they had already started to make them and my husband said absolutely not. We had not received them and we were now going to have to go somewhere else to feed our family of 6. The lady in the kitchen then proceeded to yell back at my husband that they we had to pay for the food they started to make and that she was going to call the cops? I really want to know why a business who promises a consumer items from their menu without checking inventory and inconveniences the consumer thinks that their inconvenience for their own incompetence of not counting what they have in their kitchen can charge me for their stupidity. Mind you, we paid in advance and they never mentioned refunding us for the difference in price of the burgers for dogs. The business was intending to keep my money for goods and services they did not provide and somehow the cops were going to side with them or was that supposed to intimidate us since we are people of color? Is this the type of abuse and intimidation we're supposed to accept now? My husband then did call the lady a "Karen" for her cop threat, but she did in fact call the cops who arrived as we were leaving. The two women then said in order for us to receive a refund we would need to speak to the owner who they proceeded to call on a mobile and hand it to my husband. I was sitting with my children mainly watching most of the ordeal, but then I heard my husband nearly negotiating with the owner that we would pay for part of the bill which we had yet to receive and at this point I was not giving this place any of my money. I do not pay for being treated like a criminal when I in good faith paid for goods you did not have nor provide. I injected that we were requesting a full refund and the lady at the window said that we would now have to take it up with the bank. We left having not consumed one item and they kept the entire amount of the $71 they charged to my card. As we were pulling out of the lot, the sheriff car was pulling in. I was half tempted to report them and see where the police would side, but again, these days that can be a hit or miss depending on who knows who. All I know is I was thoroughly disgusted by the attitude, treatment and lack of accountability at this business and would never recommend it to any human being. I have contacted my card to receive a refund, but that is beyond the point here.

Took 40 minutes to get fries, 2 sandwiches and a hot dog. Coke tasted awful and the food was mediocre. Overdone fries, undercooked peppers, burger was low quality. The best thing this place has is the view. I heard it's under new management and maybe they are still figuring things out.

Thought I would try something different. I looked at the menu and saw pulled pork sandwich and thought great I'll get that. Was told they don't have it ready and didn't even start cooking it yet. Then asked for a sausage sandwich, was told they don't have that anymore because not enough people ordered it. Asked for a cheese steak sandwich with mushrooms. They don't put mushrooms on it. Decided to get fish and chips with slaw. Get my food and they didn't put the slaw in the bag. Well 3 strikes your out, I gave them 4. Definitely OUT. Won't eat there again.

Their hot dogs are fantastic. They butter and grill the buns which make a huge difference in the flavor. I highly recommend them to all hot dog lovers.

Went to this place last year - great experience. New mgmt new staff - not a good experience. When the fact that a place no longer offers half their menu starts to feel like my problem - i wont be back.

I think the place might be out of business? Sign says "Open DEC 14" but its almost February and sign is still up, with letters falling off. I have not stopped to see, as I heard it went way downhill with the new owner. Beware.
