Okay, so by now you may have noticed a lot of 5 Star reviews and may be wondering why?Having recently moved from Alaska back to the lower 48, my family has embarked upon trying every restaurant we missed having available in Alaska - or at least close enough to enjoy without a four hour car ride (one way), or having to hop a plane or ferry.Applebee's is one of those places! This one in Melbourne, Florida, is fantastic!Service, from Michael, was superb. Drinks, appetizers, main courses, all arrived quick and refills were aplenty. Plus, he was just a nice guy, quite fun to talk to, and made excellent suggestions.The food? I had Penne and Chicken, kinda spicy, and so good. Appetizer sampler was outstanding. My wife had a steak, my daughter a salad. Both gobbled up their food.And the price? Right at $100, not including gratuity.We'll be back for certain!Kid-friendliness: Yep!Wheelchair accessibility: Of course!
Our server Mariah was amazing! You can tell when a server is genuine, and when a server is “Fake Genuine”.. we want to ask for her Every time.. One thing we did notice that Servers Don’t work together seems like they work against each other. Mariah was so kind Even after a server, got loud with her about her section change.. The management definitely needs to address that situation, Very disturbing.. Otherwise, she was great. Food was great management not so great.

Exactly what you would expect from an Applebee's. Overall this Applebee's is your typical chain restaurant. The food is okay and the prices aren't out of line. The service is mediocre but that might be from being understaffed. The only actual complaint I have is the speakers are blown on the stereo system which makes the paid for music from the jukebox sound like trash.
