The current owner's bought it from the Thai owners. But the current owners are not tai they are. Mexican, American. And unfortunately, a lack of authenticity shows up in the food. So i feel this is a bait and switch That's why I gave it a 3 star.

Asian Gourmet Restaurant is exactly as it promises in the name. The meals are simple in build, yet, exquisite in taste. The pricing is flexible and fair (particularly for the quality of the food). Service in front (Trish) showed expertise in hospitality and service in back prepared the meals quickly with attention to detail. The location (however convinient) begs to provide the image of "Fine Dining" that is associated with Gourmet, but, I assure your dining experience here to be more than fine. Authentic Asian restaurant with strong roots. Delightful small spot in Melbourne Florida. Went for lunch and received fabulous soup. Followed by 2 dishes. Many options for proteins. Fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Opted to pay extra for Thai Red rice which was a real treat. Had nice portions for lunch time and though we were full, we chose some cheesecake and fruit fried wontons with chocolate and sweet evaporated milk dipping sauces that went down very nicely with iced Thai coffee. They are also opening a second location in Palm Bay 3/21/24. We wish them good luck but they won’t need any. Yes, it was that good.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get into. No steps. Bathroom had hand rail.

I had visited this place first time in 2006. I am happy that this authentic outlet is still in business in spite of ups n downs in US economy including frightening Covid.
I'm new to town and decided to try this as I haven't had any really good Thai food since I would travel to the west coast for work. I got a green curry with chicken and rice and they nailed the spice and really everything in it. Their egg rolls were among some of the best I've ever had, not greasy at all. It was a little slow while I was waiting and decided to eat in as it was pouring out. Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely put this place in my Asian rotation.

First time I tried this place I had to say it's pretty good they were really busy it was sort of a unscheduled rush I believe for them maybe due to the holiday weekend coming up but food was very good prepared fresh portions were nice size and service was very friendly price was also really good I would definitely go again and recommend it for lunch

Wow! This place is fantastic!Amazingly delicious food!I love the Pho Sate with shrimp and mushroom! The calamari is so wonderful and perfectly prepared too! Staff is super friendly! Food comes out piping hot! Ginger tea is outstanding. Be sure to try their infused water of the day. I really like their payapa salad with Mango...
