Had a fantastic breakfast experience at Backwater. I had the Breakfast Club sandwich which was good, with a side of home fries which were great. My friend had the biscuits and gravy and loved it. Our waitress was fun, friendly, and helpful. She clued us in to order a single pancake to share so we could try the current special which was a carrot cake pancake. A-MAAZING.

Love this great little restaurant! Brunch is my particular favorite. The Eggs Benny come in several different varieties. I had the hambone which was a very good portion and perfectly cooked. I life the stone ground cheesy grits. Hubby had their breakfast version of BLT with over medium eggs and home fries. Mimosas made it so special. We always sit at the the bar. Good service, friendly staff. Eveyone working so hard to make it all seem effortless. ❤️

I really love this place. One of the best brunch places in the city. I had their waffles with an orange zest and gators..... phenomenal. I just finished my meal and giving this place a high review, it very rare that I do this. The service is fantastic. The servers make this place stand out. The cooks are very detailed oriented. I highly recommend. I am looking forward to return. If you're ever in Downtown Melbourne and you're looking for a place to Brunch come to Backwater. 5 ⭐ Lastly, just be sure to bring Cash or you'll get hit with a 2.85% service fee. Still A+ meal & service. Will return.
