Ordered the Croque Madam and it was dry as could be. It was just a stack of ham on toasted sourdough with a sprinkle of Gruyère cheese. I was expecting a traditional Mornay sauce made with the Gruyère cheese. Thankful I at least ordered the Madam that has a over easy fried egg. It was not what I was expecting and just bland. I brought home half of my sandwich. I will make my own Mornay sauce. Prices reasonable and wait staff nice.

Took my daughter to Coasters for lunch today. I've eaten here often and always had good food in a congenial environment. We were enjoying some beverages and the sunshade suddenly collapsed on top of me. I wasn't hurt in any way, but the staff was excellent. They had us at a new table with fresh drinks and a delicious meal. They're a great place to eat.

Second time here. While the atmosphere and service are still spot on, my lunch was not. I had the croque madame and was NOT good. No sauce....lots of ham but no sauce! It was dry, dry, dry.

What can I say. This place has been a staple of craft beer in Melbourne since the 90's. Belgian beer month in February is always worth checking out. Even without the Belgian fest going on, the selection of craft beers is long.The food is also great. They have an exotic burger special that might be bison, venison, camel, or who knows what else.Beer garden is out back and is very relaxed.No smoking in the beer garden, but you can always step out front or out back.Highly recommend.Parking: It's in the corner of a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking in front. If you know how to get around to the back of the plaza, there is also parking in the back, by the beer garden.

This is a unique bar-and-grill because they make a lot of their own ingredients. For example their pretzel appetizer was fantastic with their own homemade beer cheese. They also have their own homemade soda that does not contain any high fructose corn syrup, and it tastes just like Diet Coke or Coke. My Mahi Mahi salad was excellent and the fish and chips were good as well. The couple we were with had Mahi Mahi sandwiches and they really enjoyed those as well. I would definitely recommend a visit to this place.Parking: Part of a strip mall.
