Very nice room and access to beach but cold pool (was told the water heater wasn't working). Also had construction in the rooms around us which I understand the need to update/maintain but was weird planning considering it was spring break. Couldn't check in until almost 4:30 which was also irritating. But clean and nice staff.

But the third time they increased prices and sold 90% of parking lot to Element by Westin, so valet parking only ($20 for one night).Services: Starbucks was as any other. Gelato was amazing ($6-8). Didn't really have an experience with Longboards.Beach: A very nice beach with easy access.Rooms: Clean and mostly roomy.

I am a Skydiver and I have come to this venue 2 times, still haven’t enjoyed the rooms as I drive the same day but, I always get something to eat and drink! Service is awesome and food the same. The staff is always willing to help and have a smile on the face.I will come again, hopefully I can stay overnight on my next trip!!

Updating this review to note that IHG's app is a nightmare. Worst online experience I've had in a long time. We only ask for basic competence. Dealing with the app or website should not be this stressful.This Crowne Plaza is a slightly above average little beach resort. It is nothing particularly fancy, but does the job. Showing some small signs of age - elevator issues here and there, water pressure lower than optimal, etc., but over all, a nice experience. Hotel staff all nice and helpful. Rooms impeccably clean and nicely updated (though should have walk in showers rather than tubs... grrr). A/C was excellent in my room and beds quite comfortable with nice, soft sheets.My favorite aspect of this hotel was the easy access to the beach and the Tiki bar and grill right there by the beach and pool - and open late! Great drinks, surprisingly good food, and friendly, hardworking staff.Parking is kind of a pain, now (across the street and pedestrian bridge over), and warning: bring your own shampoo, bar soap, etc., if you don't like Apotheke products.Anyway, great place for a little escape, especially considering there aren't a whole lotta options in this area.

We were extremely disappointed in the room. First room, the door wouldn't lock so we were given the room next door. The entire room looked aged, the closet/wardrobe with the fridge was falling apart, everything was just very outdated. Beautiful pool, beach access was perfect, hotel restaurant was delicious and not overly expensive. No guest parking, only valet service. This is unreasonable to expect to tip drivers several times a day to move your car back and forth 10 feet.

When we checked into the hotel at 3am, we started off by going to “our room” where there was already a family of 4 staying there. When we went back to the front desk, the only guy working said “oopsies” and checked us into a different room after giving the family we walked in on a free night, and us nothing. They said they couldn’t give us a free night because we booked through a third party which is a little absurd.Next, about 2 days into our stay they started redoing the floors and decor in all the rooms around us starting at 8am on a Monday morning. After waking us up and having literal nails and sharp objects scattered throughout the hallway, the front desk could only give us free breakfast for one morning. They said that was the only day that work would be done on those rooms but they lied, the construction lasted 2 other days.Room service came to our room at 9am in the mornings while we were asleep and wouldn’t come back, if they did come in they took our dirty towels and didn’t leave any clean ones which left us constantly asking the front desk for more towels and toilet paper.The view and beach was super nice, but honestly with the service and all the hoops we had to jump through it wasn’t the most enjoyable experience. I’d recommend looking at other hotels on the strip.Walkability: There is a Walmart down the street about a 15 minute walk. There are some other restaurants and food places nearby that are a straight shot that are more affordable than the hotels restaurant.Food & drinks: Breakfast was buffet style, and $17 no matter how much or little you got. The drinks were a little pricey and strong.

My husband and I had our reception here and I wanted to share our honest feedback-We used the outdoor venue and it was absolutely stunning, a perfect location and size for our 100 guests. Samantha helped with the planning and she was great & responsive, Marcel was on staff that night and was very hands on making sure our night went perfect! The food was impressively delicious and the cheese cake for dessert was a great option.We chose the open bar option and added non-alcoholic beer for a couple of my guests. By the end of the night we realized they were serving my sober guests beer after requesting N/A.As for the rooms, unfortunately multiple of my guests were not happy with the rooms being extremely dirty, AC not working and doors not locking. The ocean front suite we stayed in had a separate living area from the bedroom which was nice.The front desk staff did not treat my guests with respect when they came forward to complain about the disgust. They were rude and not wanting to take care of the issue. Also, we booked a block of rooms and all my guests were in different buildings, I was expecting them all to be in the same one where my suite was located.Longboards is a great option for some live music, food & drinks. Unfortunately the service was awful and the waitresses were very rude. It wasn’t even busy for the service to be taking this long. The manager was also pacing around hovering over my guests which made them uncomfortable.
