Ember & Oak has become my fiance and I favorite place. The first time we went, we fell in love. The food is amazing and the service is perfection. My mom came to visit and she can be hard to please. She has worked at some very fancy clubs and restaurants with wonderful chef's and now Ember & Oak is her favorite place when she visits. She has told my whole family I spoiled her when it comes to steak no other place can compare.

This place is just wonderful! One of the best spots in Melbourne! Everything was delicious, even my drinks were beautiful!Vegetarian options: They have options!Dietary restrictions: Phenomenal gluten free selection! The pork belly/ scallops were incredible!Parking: It's downtown Melbourne, evenings and weekends are difficult to park.

Passing through Melbourne we decided to grab dinner here. We chose to do small bites sharing a Ceaser salad, sliders and pork belly, scallops with polenta. Everything was over the top excellent. Our server Sydney proposed great attentive service. I'd highly recommend stopping here and getting dinner. One of the best meals I've had in a long time.

The atmosphere here is great. The inside is beautiful. The outside is relaxed but feels nice as well. There is a giant pizza oven that I believe I was told is from Italy, very cool! Bartender was spectacular! The issue that we had was that we had a decent sized party attending an event and we are regular patrons. We had asked for a server for our party but we weren't provided one. It is understandable that everyone is understaffed, etc. However, there were very few other guest other than ourselves. It would have been a great night for that server!?But, we will be back, it is a regular spot for us. The place really is beautiful.?????????

Very overpriced for the quality of food. The steak was ordered medium rare and came out well done. Replacement steak took 30 min to come out and was cooked very unevenly and just poor quality for $100. Salad was the best thing. Dessert was over priced, small slice of pie and tablespoon of ice cream for $14. I use to love this place but it was bad.

Went to Ember and Oak downtown Melbourne for their happy hour today. Hostess, busser, food runner and waiter were all very good. Server came over, introduced himself and asked if it was a special occasion and I told him that it was both of our birthdays. He said happy birthday. I ordered a sour apple martini, which was supposed to be $8.00 during happy hour and he confirmed it was on happy hour. Asked for Tito’s as the vodka and was told it might be two dollars more, and I said OK. Asked if Jack on the Rocks was part of happy hour, and was told probably. Ordered the Swedish meatballs, excellent. Ordered the 10 oz sirloin steak board. Food was excellent and plentiful , prepared as ordered. Asked to substitute French fries for the side of mushrooms, told no problem. Ordered coffee with cream and sugar, put it in the coffee and it was overly sweet. Looked at the packet of what I thought was sugar because that’s what I asked for and saw that it was actually Splenda. Mentioned this to the server when he brought the check over and he did not even offer to replace the cup of coffee that sat there not consumed. Check came and was charged five dollars more for Tito’s and five dollars more for the board. I didn’t order an extra side. I asked to substitute the French fries for the mushrooms and was not told that there would be an additional charge. Did not offer a complimentary dessert for our birthdays; did not go expecting anything, but why ask if it is a special occasion if you are not going to do/offer something? Everything was good……just not an “We have to tell our friends about this place and come back”. Maybe I expected more of a “Wow” experience from this high end restaurant.

Let me start from the beginning.I wanted to have a candlelight type dinner with my wife for our anniversary. So I let Google do the walking(yeah ik its not the yellow pages lol), and Ember and Oak popped up. I thought interesting name for a place...let's see.Nice website, lil difficult to navigate AT FIRST,but quickly figured it out. The menu was for me the right amount of dishes and such which speaks to this place does one thing good and sticks to that, and not be pretentious with an oversized menu that reflects not having their act together. So I made reservations, and off we went.We arrived on time and greeted by Bria. She was SOOO bubbly and inviting it really set the attitude for us. She was very informative and helpful seating us.Then Bryan showed up with energy and drive,I was impressed,he seemed to enjoy what he does. Very engaging quick with answers can hold a conversation easily with little to no nerves, once again a mood setter. He was patient with me and my wife and offered suggestions which made our dinner choice simple,30oz KC STRIP board. I also ordered a Rye flight, and quite possibly the best Blueberry lager I've had.Greg showed up with my flight explained everything to me in detail was pleased to serve me and with a smile. We got our dinner in a reasonable time considering it was a pretty busy evening for them, and with a rye flight the time it took for our meal worked very well, must've been paying attention im guessing who knows.EVERYTHING and i mean EVERYTHING was so freaking good from presentation to explanation(great job Bryan)to taste, and when we could eat no more Bryan packed up our leftovers so nice and neat, hooked us up with the bread to go and made sure we left with our leftovers. To end the evening our wonderful hostess was only too happy to take photos of me and my happy wife.I can honestly this,Ember and Oak is by far the BEST EXPERIENCE ive had in a loooong time. And will return again.Thank you to the wonderful staff, and I cannot forget the cooks in the kitchen, you ALL make your frontline folks shine.Vegetarian options: Not a lot of offerings but this is primarily a SteakhouseParking: Downtown Melbourne Florida, yeah it is hard to finf parking during peak times
