A real gem of a place. The key lime, coconut cream, and peanut butter pie is something you'll dream about for the rest of your life.

The best bakery and so enjoyed going too. I've been getting pies and pastries from Joan's for 11 years. I hope the new owners can live up to their quality and service.

I had previously reviewed this establishment as wonderful under the original owner. Now don't bother. DH had gone down for an apple pie and a chicken pie. His understanding is that chicken pies are no longer available and he ended up just picking up a small apple tart as the pies would be 1/2 hour. The tart crust was tasteless and the filling almost like an apple paste. Horrid! Too bad it was previously a go to place for us.

I have been coming here for the past year. This was my first visit since Joan had retired and new owners took over. I always enjoyed the chicken pot pie and I know joan gave the new ownership all her recipes. But it’s not the same. The price increased a bit, the individual pies are super tiny now. The individual chicken pot pie I bought came to me with no written instructions on how to cook it. I remember joans written instructions from memory. But this pie was dry and flavorless. It was very doughy inside, no gravy. Just some pulled chicken and a few vegetables and dough. I picked at it and could not eat it. I am happy Joan retired but disappointed because I loved her pies and it’s not the same (texture, taste, service) anymore .

I was a loyal customer for 2 years after moving to the Eau Gallie Art District. Now I will never go back based on their terrible customer service. I called over 24 hours in advance to order an apple pie for a birthday. When I arrived, I was told "apparently the order never got written down". I understand that mistakes happen, but it is how they are handled that makes the difference. They were not very apologetic, and initially tried to blame me, asking if I had called in the evening (again, I told them over 24 hours ago). They sold me a frozen pie and assured me there would be no difficulty baking it at 325 for 1 hour. I baked the pie for 1 hour 40 minutes! The next day at work, we cut into the pie for my co-worker's Birthday. The crust was not cooked thoroughly, top nor bottom. I immediately phoned and was told, "sorry you didn't think we were sorry enough for you", AND I can bake you a new pie for pick up today, but would appreciate you not leaving negative reviews. A review is negative only when it is based on what happened. Very poor business practice (especially a small business) to be TWICE, so condescending to a customer. I sent a few of my co-workers there through the years, bought many pies, chicken pot pie, broccoli/egg pie. My coworkers and I will never go back, and we will spread the word.

I can't wait to purchase another pie from this company, since the pandemic arrived we haven't had any, but I want Joan to bake up lower sugar, healthy pies like Adzuki Bean Paste Pies, Taro Purple Potato Pies, Matcha Wheatgrass Custard Pies, and Blue Butterfly Pea Coconut Custard (Blue Keto) pies.

Where do I begin…., I will keep it short this was the worse pie ever! Almost 30 bucks for a pie! I will never return. It was the apple pie I love my sweets but I cannot eat this that says a lot if I will not eat that pie. Thanks for nothing

Cutest little pie shoppe there ever was! We opted to try and grab a coconut cream pie here on a whim, fingers crossed hoping they had some. They had the most adorable Omsk usual coconut cream pies. And tons of quite handsome holiday pies all packed up and ready to go! BONUS: We hot to meet the pie maker himself. Highly recommend supporting this amazing, authentic down to earth shop - especially if you like out of this world pie. They are dog friendly and even had doggie treats out. There’s hand made and hand scooped ice cream and it’s all made right there.

The homemade pies are tasty. I got the chocolate peanut butter pie and it's good but it could use more chocolate. It's a peanut butter pie with a bit of chocolate. This would be excellent with a better ratio of chocolate to peanut butter. We also got a cherry pie which came fresh out of the oven. It was really good! The crust was cooked well and the cherries had just the right amount of tartness. We shared a cup of banana pudding which was okay. There were no actual bananas in the pudding and the pudding had the artificial taste of banana. I wouldn't get this again. I got a chicken pot pie which comes frozen. I haven't had a chance to cook it yet but I am looking forward to tasting it. It's one of my faves. The best part was my dog was welcome and they offered her a treat! They also had mini doggie pies, so we had to have one of those too! The folks working the counter were extremely nice and helpful. They get 5 stars! I want to try some other pies and hope to visit again!

The best! All of the pies are outstanding!! They also sell mini pies which have about 4 mini slices if you want to sample a pie or if you cannot decide between multiple flavors. Also, they have pies you can purchase as a walk in if you forget to call ahead.

Apple Pie was almost flavorless. Bland crust, no home made apple filling, just tasted like sour green apples and cinnamon. Needs sugar at least.. I haven’t tasted any other pies though. The ice cream was just ok. With all the good reviews and buying a bland pie, I probably won’t be going back. Spent about $45 on bleh…
