My husband and I, along with our two Havanese, Ernie & Fredo decided to eat at Nomad Market Eatery today and the experience could not have been better. We arrived at an "off" serving time of sorts, around 2:45 pm, or between "shifts" and were greeted with welcoming smiles and a bowl of cold water for our dogs. The food was beyond delicious and expertly prepared, the service was fantastic, the dogs were shaded and relaxed on the patio and everyone was super kind & friendly, ultra accommodating and extremely nice. As we were leaving, a lovely man apologetically approached us about "not having more servers and having us bear the Florida August heat on the patio." We were told the restaurant was moving "island side," ie: on the barrier island over the causeway(s) come September 2022 and to please come again. Thank you to these wonderful folks, and their superb food & drink, gracious accommodations and kindness towards humans and dogs...and YES we will definitely return!

I’ve been wanting to try Nomad for awhile & finally made it there last night for my birthday dinner with friends. When the reservation was made we said it was a birthday dinner, our table had cute little celebration confetti on it. The owners were so friendly but best of all was the food, from her homemade bread to the Bruschetta to all the dinners, Shepard’s Pie, Lasagna, Tortellini, Chorizo steak and some Flan at the end. We will definitely be back. It’s a hidden gem in Downtown Melbourne that should be checked out. Thank you for a memorable birthday and my macaroon!

We went for dinner from a recommendation by someone we had met that day and Nomad did not disappoint! The owners/chefs were delightful and very kind and the food was amazing and delicious!!! Low key, European feeling and so relaxing!

We have always made a detour for lunch or dinner when traveling by Melbourne to eat at what was the Nomad Cafe. The last time we stopped, we were disappointed that it was unexpectedly closed at lunch time. So, when we were able to stop for lunch this past week, we were surprised. It had completely changed. Changed and different, but still terrific. It was no longer a farm to table type place, but an Italian/Mediterranean marketplace and eatery. Delicious fresh and freshly prepared foods, salamis, cheese, prosciutto, pastries, etc. We shared Prosciutto, Mozzarella, tomato, basil salad. Very good. We then had the Warm Duck and Brie sandwich on brioche bun. Wow! And a nice wine list. Friendly and enthusiastic server. It had always been pet friendly, but now the new owner, Francesco, a fellow Schnauzer lover, has added more tables to the outside, covered patio making even more tables available for folks with pets. We will continue to stop at the Nomad Market Eatery whenever we are in the Melbourne area.

This restaurant is amazing. Homemade ravioli and pasta dishes. Outstanding sauces and some of the best moussaka I have ever eaten! Truly superior beer and wine as well. I cannot wait to return!

Outstanding Italian Fare on my two visits to Nomad Market Eatery so far! This is a MUST-GO if you love authentic, beautifully presented Italian meals. You'll meet Francesco and his wife Krystyna...so passionate about the cuisine they prepare and serve. Indoor and outdoor seating, we chose indoor as the temperatures outside are climbing at this time of year. The menu is large and varied, in this restaurant/deli you can find wonderful appetizers, entrees, desserts and a variety of products that can be purchased and taken home to your kitchen. ALL THE GOOD THINGS...You must see it! I have my eye on some authentic Virgin Olive Oil to bring home and use when I create favorite dishes. We ordered so far, a variety of appetizers, Bruschetta, Burrata di Parma, Prosciutto and Mozzarella, ...I'd like to soon try the Sea Mix. Entrees that were spectacular and very noteworthy: Luxury Lasagna, Fresh Truffle Purses (Mmmmm), and the Gnocchi. All soooo great I had to bring a friend that can certainly appreciate the superior flavors of these meals. And for dessert perhaps the most wonderful Tira Misu I've ever tasted. Don't misunderstand...Nomad Market Eatery has many other International Choices, from Burgers to Chicken, Fish dishes and Salads plus Hot and Cold Sandwiches. My advice: Make this your next lunch or dinner stop in Melbourne. You'll be moved! And spend a few minutes speaking with Francesco... he is warm, funny, and extremely passionate about his work!

Meet Francesco and Krystyna WHHHHHHAAAAAT???? OUTSTANDING, STELLAR MEAL! We shared four dishes… Luxury lasagna layered and covered in homemade meat sauce, warm duck and brie sandwich with pulled duck, sautéed shallots, cranberries brie and spinach, Greek salad that tasted like we were eating it in Greece and tres Leche, homemade on steroids.... Our hosts, Francesco and Krystyna, could not have been more gracious or hospitable and the food could not have been any better… Totally glorious experience! PS Well thought out wine selection!

We had late lunch and enjoyed the Italian flavors and charm! Not your normal Italian eatery but light hardy menu is Southern Italy charm and ambience. It’s on the corner of hwy1 and South Harbor City Blvd!

Had lunch today at this cute little place. Had been there a few times before new owners took over . Always had a good meal. Thought we would try again. The place was empty at lunch time. One other table came in while we were there. To start off, they need to think about training a new server. It was very discombobulated . He didn’t know what he was doing. My burger was actually burnt on both sides and very dry. I guess that was partially my fault because I didn’t tell him how I wanted it cooked. And he didn’t ask. The potato salad was very good . Some of their desserts are served in small plastic drinking cups and weren’t appealing to the eye. That should be a must change. Appearance is important to taste. The small dining room looks straight into the storage area and not pleasing to the eye. I think a little thought to these items would improve business significantly. I may or may not try again. Prices are steep to have these types of faults.

This is a nice restaurant with a variety of cuisines but feel is over-priced and a little over rated. Don't get me wrong, its good but not great.

Poor food and abysmal customer service. Went here twice. Both visits the $20 vegan burger was served black on one side. Both duck and brie sandwiches were bad, the first was old and dry, the second was served without any brie. Both times we were served overcooked, dry, crunchy rice. I sent several emails to the owner. She claimed she never got them, yet once I left a review, she responded to it, saying she never got my emails, but actually replied to one of my original emails, meaning she lied. She said she'd get back to me. Never did. I emailed her again yesterday and her reply was that she had inadequate information and could do nothing. This place used to be great but the newer owner is terrible and the quality had dropped.

Ordered the Parisian salad with duck at $23 for lunch. Asked for bread or a bread stick to go along with the salad. The waitress had to ask the manager and his reply was a bread basket could be added for $6. Since when is bread a la carte with a salad? The salad was good, with the sparse duck. Sadly, Nomad's I won't be returning.

We were very disappointed with the service and with our dinner. The menu hasn’t changed under new ownership but the quality has definitely suffered. The restaurant has always been full but there were very few parties there. And, paper napkins and plastic plates belong in fast food restaurants. We always looked forward to our annual visit there while vacationing in Florida. We unfortunately won’t be back.

I ordered the beet salad. It used to be roasted freak beets. Huge chunks. This time it seemed canned. I don’t think they are doing farm to table with all fresh ingredients. The price was the same however. Very disappointing. The old chef was an artist and the changes aren’t good.
