Went to Joy luck and bought a lunch combo. The fried rice was so dry it was almost impossible to eat.. I ended up throwing most of it away. The general Tso's chicken waas also super dry, was more like General Tso's chicken jerky. I suspect the food had been cooked long before I got there. I dont expect much from Chinese restauraunts in this area, but this food was terrible. I'll never go there again.

Fake Americanized Chinese food. Usually when a place is ran by asians it is pretty good. I do not understand this rating. They put so much corn starch in the egg drop soup it pours like jello! The rice they use doesn't even stick together. I cannot imagine how his place has a 4.2 out of 5 stars. I will never give this place my business again.

Quality ingredients. Actually good beef, and veggies are better selection than average (snow peas/bok choy/ mushrooms as well as usual). This location is pick up only - no sitting in restaurant.

We're new to the are and needed (yes, needed!!) to find some excellent Crab Rangoon, so we did a Crab Rangoon Crawl and visited 5 restaurants just to order crab rangoon. :) We're pleased to say that Joy Luck had the best by far. The filling was perfect, had great flavor and was slightly sweet (as it should be!). The wrapper was just right - not too much, not too doughy - and cooked to perfection! It came with a dipping sauce which was good, but not necessary as the crab rangoon alone was awesome!

This was a mediocre food experience at best. The two stars are due to quantity and presentation of products. The rice and food tastes like it was all heat and serve product, especially the "fried" (yellow parboiled) rice. Of the food ordered it had overly sweet syrupy sauces (all tasted like prepackaged sauces) and what wasn't covered in sauce was flavorless. Will not be patronizing this restaurant again.

Good cashew chicken and crab Rangoon. It must be an east coast thing with chicken broth in pork wonton soup, though? Still trying to get used to it. Five stars if they didn't pass their credit card processing fee on to their customers, though. Remember to bring cash for the "discount".

Best Chinese food on the island. The lo kein is delicious and garlicky. The hunan beef is spicy and packed with veggies. The staff is always friendly and polite.
