The menu at 100x35 Los Raices is a culinary journey through Puerto Rico's diverse flavors, showcasing the creativity of the chefs who skillfully blend traditional ingredients with contemporary techniques. We started with the alcapurrias and bacalaitos, a dishes that elevated the humble plantain and simple cod to new heights, the richness of seafood with the comforting familiarity of plantains and meat. For the main course, I indulged in the bistec encebollado. The beef was a masterpiece of tenderness and flavor, complemented by the the slight bitterness of onions and vinegar. The presentation was a visual delight, emphasizing the restaurant's commitment to culinary artistry. The drink menu is equally impressive, featuring a curated selection of Puerto Rican-inspired cocktails and an nice wine list. The bartenders showcase their expertise in crafting drinks that perfectly complement the bold flavors of the dishes. I recently had a great experience at Puerto Rican 100x35 restaurant. Initially, I was hesitant to go on a Thursday evening after 6pm because the restaurant was empty. However, my worries were unfounded as the food turned out to be delicious.I highly recommend trying their snapper and carne frita. Both dishes were excellent and packed with flavor. The snapper portion was generous and the mofongo, was soft and had a great taste. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the large portion sizes. I was satisfied with the value for money. The service at Puerto Rican was fantastic. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured our dining experience was enjoyable. Additionally, the restaurant was clean, which added to the overall positive experience. The only drawback I found was the parking situation. It was a bit challenging to find parking, but it didn't overshadow the overall experience. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and despite the parking issue, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I heard about this restaurant from my friend and he raved about their food. I live in Broward, so to get my wife to go that far south just to have lunch or dinner is like pulling teeth. I finally was able to go down for my birthday and all i can say was WOW!!! Amazing food and live music! I highly recommend 100 x 35!! El que sabe sabe!!

Authentic Puertorrican cuisine with a flair in this upscale South Beach location. Easy valet parking next door and live music on Sundays 2-5pm.

The food was pretty good but pricy. El mofongo delicioso! However, there's a not disclosed default service charge (tip) of 18%. And they still ask for more in tips. When asked about it the waiter was defensive about it but ultimately took out the extra tip.Be careful of double tipping!

Shrimp with the red sauce... shrimp with the red sauce... shrimp with the red sauce. Oh my, that was amazing. This was my first time there as we were searching south beach for mofongo and whenever I make it back it's gonna be hard to order any of the other meats.

This was the one south beach spot we stopped into on our trip. It was a very "Miami" experience. Right when we walked in the Latin music set the scene. There was a performer singing, playing drums and DJing songs multiple different Latin genres (merengue, salsa, etc). Many of the other patrons would sing with or back to the performer. People would intermittently get up to dance including my group though I am a poor excuse for a salsa dancer. The ambiance was very tropical jungle like and in the back of the restaurant the walls were designed to look like buildings in Old San Juan. The food was a tad pricey but was very good. We tried sorullitos (cornmeal fritters with cheese) with a guava sauce, and bacalaitos (fried cod fritters) with mayochup. The sorullitos were delicious the cod fritters were a tad on the salty side. For our entree my wife and I split a bifongo with roasted pork which was very good. Between the music, the dancing and the food it was quite and eventful and enjoyable night.

Best Puerto Rican restaurant I’ve been in years. I’ve gone a couple times and I always get the same server, she’s always extremely nice. The food is perfect, actually this is the first Puerto Rican restaurant that does not serve a massive amount of mofongo (at least the ones I’ve gotten) and I can tell you that it’s quality over quantity. Other places may serve a massive mofongo, but the quality/flavor is nowhere near this one. They definitely got a repeat customer here.

This place brought me back home, the alcapurrias and bacalaitos. I ordered the Trifongo with churrasco and it was amazing, the churrasco was perfectly cooked and soft, the mofongo was absolutely delicioso. The coquito is a must!!

Went today with family and had the Mofongo shrimp, chicken and pork. All three where fantastic. The cook was spot on with the taste. It reminded me of my mother's and grandmother's cooking. But most of all the service was excellent plus the band that was playing during our meal. It felt as if we were back in Puerto Rico. Please take time to visit this gem of a place in Miami. People always come here for the Cuban food but the Puerto Rican cuisine was second to none.

The place was beautiful, friendly service. My husband was born & raised in Puerto Rico ?? and I lived there 29 years. We obviously know what authentic puertorican food taste like. The food tasted good but it did not in my opinion have that authentic island ?? flavor. The drinks were okay... for the price, I expected more Caribbean flavor. This is from 2 people who lived in Puerto Rico ??

A Miami Cuban Boy's opinion in this Puerto Rican style restaurant and just coming in I'm impressed. Live music that is not too loud and enjoyable. I was told that this place just opened but I figured when you invest the $ to have started this place up you had to know that the Chef was worth it; let's see. Started with a combo appetizer which was incredible; not one of the six different items on this dish was even OK; all six was perfect. My favorite was either the Bacalao or the Carnita De Puerco; but all great. Look you have to ask for this it's a "Can't miss"...... The mains we had was the Mofongo for my wife and friends but I ordered the Boriqua Bowl........all with smiles on our faces Now all get ready to give up $; but like I always say for good food good service and a great evening it's worth it. Look all of you are here and want great Puerto Rican food this is the place to go 100%
