The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Nice attentive service. The patio is perfect for watching people stroll along Ocean Drive. The interior is rather cool due to the temperature and ambience, so the terrace is recommended.

Great service and great food. Always a good meal. Excellent seafood. Atmosphere charming with guitar player. Calm oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Ocean Dr

A magical evening for a special occasion. Sat outside, which provided great ambiance - the guitar player was super talented. Our waiter was very attentive without being annoying and he was so sweet to bring us Prosecco on the house to celebrate. The orzo paella is well worth the price - chock full of fresh seafood and a whole lobster! Profiteroles for dessert were decadent and it felt really decadent that they had gelato instead of regular ice cream inside. Good cocktails, too! Highly recommend!!

The atmosphere was perfect with fantastic live music, attentive service, and paella better than any we've ever had. We will certainly recommend the Avalon to all our friends. Oh yes, the award winning key lime pie yummy.

Their orzo paella is one of the best seafood dishes I've ever eaten and I think about it all the time. May have ruined all other paella for me to be honest. The fish was fresh and so delicately cooked and each piece of orzo melted in your mouth along with the that decadent sauce. It was so filling and yet light at the same time. My husband and I had a lovely meal there and everything from their cocktails to dessert was delicious. It's been a little bit so I think their menu has changed but we also loved the dessert - a bananas foster type of dish. So good! Great service and loved the ambiance - was the perfect setting for a romantic date night.

My recent dining experience at A Fish Called Avalon in South Beach Miami was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for a memorable evening. The ambiance of A Fish Called Avalon is sophisticated yet inviting. The soft lighting and elegant furnishings create a cozy atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner or an intimate gathering with friends. Now, let’s talk about the food. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The grouper, cooked to perfection, was tender and flaky. The octopus was a true standout, grilled to perfection. The tuna tartare was a revelation, featuring the freshest cuts of tuna. And let’s not forget about dessert. The key lime pie was the perfect ending to an already exquisite meal. Creamy yet refreshing, with just the right amount of tanginess, it was a slice of heaven on a plate. But what truly set A Fish Called Avalon apart was the impeccable service, thanks to Charles and Giorgio. From the moment we were seated until the end of our meal, Giorgio and Charles went above and beyond to ensure a flawless dining experience. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality elevated our evening. In conclusion, A Fish Called Avalon is a gem in the heart of South Beach Miami, offering not only excellent food but also impeccable service and an unforgettable dining experience.

We had an amazing time at dinner, celebrating my wife's birthday with our youngest daughter. While the noise from Ocean Drive was a little more distracting than I would've liked, it was absolutely worth it when compared to the great food, awesome service from Charles our waiter and the overall dining experience. From the expertly crafted specialty drinks, to the appetizer of Bang Bang Shrimp all the way to the birthday serenade and a complimentary key lime pie for the birthday girl, the evening was well worth it.
