I wanted to try this new restaurant in my neighborhood for a while. The place is attractive with nice decor and ambience outside, and a great terrace. It has a very Mediterranean vibe. It is a great place for date night. At the beginning service was a bit chaotic - they could not find a complete drink menu, they came to take the order without bringing the menu, the food came first than the drinks .... But at the end they got on track and the service improved . Our server was very nice, charismatic and very professional. In general the food was unremarkable. I ordered the whole branzino and was surprised with the size and the good job the server did deboning it table side. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the appearance, like it was not fresh or it was cooked in advance and re-heated it to bring it to the table. On the contrary the chicken was very small piece but it tasted delicious. The fritura mista fell flat as well , it was a little soggy. The panicotta was very uneventful but the ricotta cheesecake was very good. The cocktail menu did not catch my attention so we ordered wine. The wine list is very diverse, and they have some wines with moderate prices. Funny we tried a $40 wine , the same I bought in total wine for $12 last week; but well it is about the experience - LOL. Expensive fare ;-)

Went here for dinner on the last night of a girls trip in Miami, and it did not disappoint. Awesome selection and great portions on the MIAMI SPICE menu too! Everything was delicious and the service wonderful. Will definitely be back.

The ambiance is nice and is about it! The food is average at best, especially the pasta: salty and navigating in oil. Stale bread, greasy focaccia, overbearing service. Overpriced. Do not recommend.

The food was delicious. It was eaten so fast didn't have time to take a pictures. But did take one of the desserts, they were amazing! I've never tried tiramisu ice cream and it was so good! Our service Jerry, was very professional and nice.

Absolutely beautiful location in south pointe. The food taste like the pasta was made as you wait. Definitely something you have to experience!

The house marinara was sublime. A real hidden gem of South Beach.

Stopped in here for a drink while we waited for friends. The bartender, Adrianna, was absolutely wonderful! She makes a great drink and she is so kind and friendly! I had to write this review just to make sure everyone knows it!!

We dined there on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was empty. We went there to try the Miami Spice menu. There were up-charges for several items on the Miami Spice menu, despite the fact that these up-charges were not listed on the menu when viewed on the Miami Spice website, so this was disappointing. Ambiance is excellent though, and the service was very good.

We had an amazing dinner, the food was high quality and prepared to perfection. We were seated outside surrounded by Sorento lemon trees giving you the feeling like you were in Italy. The staff was extremely personable and very attentive. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Came here on a Tuesday night for a sheek dinner with the family. We decided to sit outside, which was covered very nicely, however the Miami humidity got the best of us. From what I could see of the inside, it is an upscale restaurant with dim lighting. I was not impressed with the quality of the italian food here. It wasn't horrible, but I have had better food with fresher ingredients. Particularly, I wanted to comment that the gnocchi caprise was nothing special - felt like a lot of cheese with red sauce and gnocchi. Overall I was not really blown away with the food or the service. As this is Miami Beach, parking is difficult to find and expensive, but likely not the fault of the restaurant.

The service and food was phenomenal! Jerry Caggia was an awesome server. He treated our group like family. The eggplant and Italian ice cream were my favorite. I would highly recommend Amare to anyone visiting south beach!
