We had lahmacun and pide (Turkish flatbreads) which were great. I highly recommend Zeybek for authentic Turkish specialties. Service was very friendly, as well.

The place is small, though nicely decorated. The owner is friendly and our server was eager to please, though he seemed to have a hard time understanding what we were seeking. The website has a different menu than what is currently offered, a disappointment because we came for that menu, including a number of vegetarian options. We asked to recreate one of the items from the website menu, a vegetarian plate, which was nice but they ended up charging us separately for one of the items that should have been included. I ordered the vegan bowl, which was not a bowl at all, but like a smaller version of the vegetarian plate. It would have been much better if it was on a bed of rice or something else. And at $18, it was not very substantial. Most of what we did get was tasty, though I'd skip the lentil patties, but the experience on the whole left much to be desired. I wouldn't rush back.

Very much enjoyed this brand new Turkish restaurant we happen upon while walking down Washington Avenue in South Beach Miami. I don't often just happen in to a place but we were hungry, the wind was picking up and it was getting ready to rain. I saw there were only five reviews, but mostly good. Did not have an entrée, I did have the lentil soup, it was puréed and a nice flavor. We stayed with appetizers, just tzatziki, arugula, salad, and an eggplant, dip with yogurt, served with a basket of pita bread. Made that sound kind of simple, but all the apps were well prepared, aesthetically, pleasing, and tasty. Not in the area often, but would absolutely come back and give them an opportunity to let me try their entrées Give them a shot, they deserve it!

Great food reasonable prices. Service was polite and quick. Ambiance was just what I wanted for a Mediterranean restaurant. Absolutely recommend.

Had dinner at Zeybek again the other night with family. The food was outstanding! Everything was cooked to perfection. This is my favorite hidden gem!

I hate to be the one leaving a less than 5-star review, but I need to be honest about my experience. The ambiance and wait service were warm and friendly. I went to this place because of the positive reviews and was looking for some freshly prepared Mediterranean food. Maybe I picked the wrong time (8 PM on a Wednesday) but they seemed out of almost everything I wanted. I asked for lemonade, they were out of it. I asked for hummus served with hot sauce - they were out of hot sauce. The ultimate blow was when I saw the hummus arrive with a side of tortilla - not pita bread - when asked I was informed they were out of that too! A Mediterranean restaurant without these basic staples does not offer any experience at all. Very disappointing.

We found this restaurant by coincidence and we are glad we found this excellent Turkish restaurant. The name is Zeybek which is a name of a Turkish folkloric dance. When we go inside the restaurant the owner of the place greeted us in a very warm manner. The place is very nicely decorated. The ambiance is so good. The foods are amazing. Baklava is coming Urfa which is a famous city with its baklava. Service was excellent. We prefer sitting outside because the weather was so nice. The prices are very reasonable compare to the same quality of the other restaurants. After dinner we had Turkish tea. Tomorrow morning we will go there for breakfast too because they have all breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try first time Turkish food or Turkish people who miss Turkish cuisine. Thanks to owners of this restaurant.

Very impressed. We are Turkish and moved to Miami a year ago. There a quite a few Turkish restaurants in the area which are decent. Zeybek is on a different level. Extremely authentic as if you're in Turkey eating at a mom and pop restaurant. The staff is personable and all the food is homemade. The salads and the meat is top level. We will be back often.
