I don't know who thinks this is a good sushi place. If you you k ow your sushi, this places is 1 or 2 star at the most for sushi. There is no flavor or creativity in the rolls. Everything very plane .... really 1

Definitely one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in my life and my wife felt the same (and we’ve eaten a lot)! The flavors were perfectly balanced and nothing was about novelty, only quality and freshness (the uni special was delicious, sweet, and briny - I was on the search for it this trip and was pleasantly surprised they had it…I haven’t had uni so good since San Francisco)The ambience sitting outside elevated the experience and the service was attentive and sincere (we brought our 1 year old daughter and they made it a point to make her smile and feel special as well..even though she was a bit tired/hangry). We were lucky to be within walking distance from our hotel. Highly recommend…food and service are top notch! Will definitely return next time we’re in the area. I am a chef and appreciate these types of places that do elevated cuisine without the pretentiousness

Fresh and delicious food. We had the palm salad, gyoza and grilled avocado appetizers. Least favorite was the avocado as it was too salty. The other 2 were fabulous. We then had the deluxe sushi and the sushi/sashimi combination dinners. Both were great, with plenty of fish selections. Sake and drinks were a good complement to the meals. No dessert as we were full. Seated outside which was less noisy than inside. Great overall experience.

You are greeted to a wonderful scent as soon as walk in to the place. The host was very friendly and very welcoming. We sat outside by the pool which was very relaxing and very nice. Our waitress Victoria was so sweet I told her from the beginning about my sensitivity to soy. And she was so helpful in helping me find dishes that did not contain any soy, and even though there was not that many for me to choose from I was still able to get some of sushi rolls that were not bathed in soy. She even felt so bad for me because my options were very few. That I know for a fact that she spoke to the assistant manager and discussed the situation because she came to the table and brought me a complimentary salmon and himachi negiri ..and because I couldn't dip my sushi in soy sauce she came with a bottle of coconut aminos which is a great subtitute when you can't have soy. So thank you Victoria and Misuki sorry if I butchered your name. But you were great. And thank you for being so sensitive to my needs.OkSo now for the food that I could not have because it has soy but that my friends truly enjoyed. my friends order the spicy tuna crispy rice the rice is the perfect texture the flavor she described as spicy from the tuna and sweet from the unagi sauce with an extra kick to the wasabi crema that was put on top.Oxtail fried rice it's a different concept of fried rice the rice texture according to them was perfect and the amazing flavorful oxtail and the egg on top Made creamy and it's just a party of flavors.The fried chicken that I was able to have had the perfect texture it was crispy in the outside but not greasy for some reason weird but it's true. The salmon rolls that I had was the negatoro and the yellow tail something sorry I forgot . But unfortunately I had only the coconut aminos to dip in because all the sauces had soy . So I can imagine that it probably taste even better with the sauce that it comes with.

The ambience was lovely and the service was good. The food was not up to Blue Ribbon's standards. The fish was cut too thick and the batter on fried dishes was heavy and tasteless.

I'm honestly really impressed. Great nigiri list; you don't find kinmedai at many places, uni from Hokkaido is a real treat, and there are plenty of other solid choices. Nicely prepared as well; well proportioned and garnished, and pretty good rice.Service was generally good, maybe a bit slow coming along to check on things. The atmosphere is certainly vibrant, almost too much so for what I usually go for, but not overbearing.I certainly could see myself coming back next time I'm in Miami Beach.

Stopped in here after a long day of travel and it was the perfect spot. Ate way too much and loved every second of it! THE BRUSSEL SPROUTS. Just get them. So amazing. Highly recommend the oxtail fried rice too. Honestly… everything was great. Service was attentive and quick, ambiance is super cute - we enjoyed our meal on the patio. Highly recommend blue ribbon and I can’t wait to come back!

If you want to treat yourself to a special experience, go someplace where the chefs take pride in their art. Blue Ribbon is a perfect example. Sit at the bar and watch these guys work. There’s no question they are committed to perfection. The staff and atmosphere are amazing as well. I don’t come to south beach very often, but when I do, I will always have a meal here.
