just could not understand many of the previous reviews, which rated this restaurant so badly. Firstly, the service which from the moment we entered the building, was perfect with a number of welcoming professional receptionists. Although under seasonal pressure (this was days before Christmas) in this multi cover restaurant, fully booked and with diners pouring in… I observed a very professional restaurant in full swing from the moment we arrived. Our main server , Davide ( from Lake Como, Italy ) was excellent, amusing, witty…and his explanation of the specials of the day was so good, I wasn’t even going to bother looking at the menu as I was sold. Unfortunately, the baked turbot special had to be for the whole table and I was the only one who would have chosen it. I still was able to go with the tuna tartare special. This restaurant is lovely, a little reminiscent of a Cipriani restaurant with similar high-prices. However, just as with all of the Cipriani restaurants that we had visited around the world before Jan 1st 2021, Casa Tua delivers. The service, the art on the walls, the comfort, inside, the beautiful and popular outside seating areas, the professional service, the atmosphere and the excellent food (on the expensive side but well worth it for the overall experience) was good value. For example, my tuna tartar was $43, however, at $63, the excellent, perfectly cooked, melt in the mouth Chilean sea bass was certainly good value. The portion size was substantial while the dish was on a par with Nobu pricing. However, unlike many Nobu restaurants Casa Tua is quite unique and highly individual. The outside dining areas which wrap around the restaurant, are inviting and beautiful and remind me of our favourite Italian restaurant off Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. We loved the colour photographs which range from dogs to family scenes on one side of each page in the main menu and also on opening the wine list. What a brilliant idea. There were some lovely pet dog photos. I have never seen this anywhere else in the world. It conjures up an image of the host’s private photo album at a dinner party in a beautiful home. The homely atmosphere continues with the art and photographs on the walls ( I loved the photos of saxophonists and, by our corner table, the 1986 photo of Andy Warhol in a limo with a friend, next to which was an evocative photograph dating back to 1955 of a New York City parking lot overlooked by tenements which is adjacent to a railway line on third Avenue, both by the same photographer...and the general bric-a-brac on the shelves ...the effect is comfortable and homely... and interesting. All of this is extremely well curated with care and great taste. The Branzino fish was excellent as was the Faroe Island Salmon. All of the dishes came together at the right time, unlike at some other restaurants in Miami. Everything was perfectly cooked and of high-quality. The Italian ice cream flavour of the day was coffee which I was told was for the table. I don’t normally eat dairy however, I couldn’t resist having a sample after Davide told me I must just have a taste and that he would bring me just one small scoop. In fact, he had no intention of doing that and instead delivered a huge tower of the most wonderful home-made coffee ice cream, see photo, with the compliments of the restaurant. Just one word about the wine list, which is excellent. Whenever I see Salon champagne and Chateau Ypres on a wine list I know that the Restaurant is serious. The wine list is fantastic although it is a little expensive with the markup expected from two Michelin star restaurants. I would like to see restaurants such as this offer rose/red/white and sparkling wine specials of the day to move some lesser wines by making them more accessible. This would also be profitable for the restaurant. I was very impressed that they also had one of my favourites French rose wines, Chateau Domain OTT available by the glass. It went down extremely well with both courses. This restaurant is so good with such a great choice of wines, that I wo

Overall very romantic. Elegant and upscale interior with a hint of beach home chic. Exterior seating feels secluded and private. Staff is on it. Food is definitely the main draw, sumptuous burratta, lobster linguine were special as well, but what you need to save space for is the Sicilian pistachio ice cream. It comes in two serving sizes and the small one is more than enough for two to share.

The in spot to Run shoulders with Miami's Elite. The food caters and does not disappoint. Well balanced top tiered ingredients and wonderfully served by a professionally managed staff. Unique cocktails are available and their pasta freshly made and perfectly cooked comes very close to feeling like you're in Italy'.

I was extremely disappointed with the way Casa Tua handled my company's holiday dinner reservations. A month before the set date, I was told by the beverage and catering coordinator that I did not need to make a reservation through her because it wasn't more than 10 guests and instructed me to make the reservation 21 days prior to the date. And so that's what I did. Not once was I informed that if I have a party of 10, the only option would be, to be dined outside, only unless we pay an additional $2000 for the "Chef's Table" indoors. Being that Miami weather is extremely unpredictable, 3 days before the date, Miami is expected tons of rain. So i called and spoke to a hostess to confirm if we can be for sure accommodated outside and I was told in a rude impatient tone that tables inside are "first come first serve"...how does that make sense if we made a reservation?!?!!?!?!? I reached out again to the Bev and food coordinator and explained the severity of the situation, how we need some kind of reassurance that weather will not interfere with our reservation & holiday dinner. The owner & CEO and President of the company I work for were all flying in overseas specifically for this dinner. She proceeded to tell me the same thing and did not want to try and come up with a reasonable resolution other than just giving me 3 options: 1. take the risk 2. paying an extra $2k for a private room 3. cancel the reservation She told me "Most restaurants in Miami are outdoors so you should have known the risk". which is false... Casa Tua - you lost 10 wealthy customers and will not hesitate to let others know not to come here.

My favorite place to go in Miami. If you visit Miami , go to Casa Tua. You won't regret it.

Casa Tua is indeed impeccable in their pasta! The cacio e pepe is addictively good, I could eat this three times a day! Be careful not to get too full off pasta if you plan to have main course. You won't be able to contain yourself from eating a whole plate. The branzino is quite the presentation; covered in a sort of baked shell that they crack open and serve. Very lovely fish. Beef tenderloin with fois gras was incredible and tender, we ordered an additional plate after the first to enjoy with our wine. The casa tua donuts are guilty pleasure for sure! And gelato is heavenly. I can't get enough of that smooth creaminess. Casa Tua indeed feels like home and I want to go back every week to enjoy more pastas!

I hosted a private event here on Wednesday morning for 48 guests and had an exceptional experience. The staff was great, the food was great, and Casa Tua location perfectly located two blocks from Art Basel can't be beat. My workplace has this breakfast at their location every year. It was my first time coordinating; I arrived early and was quickly accommodated by valet. I worked quickly with the staff to adjust the headcount. The upstairs room had a cozy and welcoming feel. I also really like their furniture. Their outside terrace allowed us to accommodate an additional 10 guests. This particular morning was a little chilly, but once the sun came out the terrace was the best place to be. If you are considering a place for a special event I highly recommend Casa Tua.

I diner at Casa Tua for a large work dinner event and had mixed feelings on this spot. While the atmosphere and decor is fantastic, the service and food are not top tier. If you're coming for a drink then it's perfect. If you're coming for a top dining experience then I would go elsewhere! Branzino wasn't good, the steak was chewy, the salad was drenched in oil. I left before dessert.

We showed up 40 minutes ahead of our reservation, and they seated us immediately. Since we wanted to dine outside, we were asked to wait for the outdoor table. We lounged in a separate room with comfy couches, sipped on wine, and got our table in about 20 minutes. The ambiance here is magical! Despite being in the heart of Miami Beach, you'll swear you've been transported to a Tuscan village. A lush plant fence surrounds the entire patio, dividing you from the noise of the outside world and creating a feeling of privacy. The sense of peace there is hard to describe. The attention to detail is evident in the branded dishes, giving you the feeling of dining in your Italian grandma's cozy village home. We couldn't resist trying the most popular Fettuccine ai Funghi with black truffle. And, oh my, it was beyond delicious. The flavor was extremely rich and absolutely truffly. When I looked at the pictures of this pasta, I thought it would cost 100 dollars because of the amount of truffle, but it was 49, which was a fair price for it. The burrata was equally amazing, perfectly paired with their bread service and a balsamic that left me genuinely impressed. It was a balsamic like no other, with rich, wine-infused notes. As a dessert connoisseur, the Millefeuille didn't quite match the heights of the previous dishes. The cream was a bit too fatty for my taste, but it still earned a solid 7 in my books. The waiter, with his charming accent, added a personal touch to our evening. He inquired about our satisfaction after each course and what made you feel that they really cared about you as a guest. Casa Tua exceeded my already high expectations, making it my ultimate favorite spot in Miami. I can't wait to return, not just for another amazing meal but for the overall exceptional experience.

Not even going to comment on the food because before it arrived my handbag was stolen. The manager nonchalantly said “you should be careful, it’s happened before”. What kind of a non-empathetic answer is that? Not until the police arrived and demanded to see video camera footage was it clear that as the waiter served bread on my left, a woman passed behind and grabbed my bag from the chair. Were they in cahoots? I don’t know. Will NOT be back!
