Best ravioli I had since Italy. Great restaurant. Only downside was a table of rowdy Austrians yelling and singing. Don't know why the hostess seated me there.
We were pleasantly surprised, as we were walk-ins. The blackened cod and spinach ravioli were terrific. Hester was aVery good server. The atmosphere was inviting.

I had an early dinner on Dolce patio (in Hotel Gale) so people watching was fun. The complimentary bread with olive oil was good but would have been better offered with Parmesan cheese & fresh cracked pepper. I had a delicious mango mojito mocktail....so refreshing! And for my entree I had the lobster ravioli which was encouraged by my server. Unfortunately, the pasta dish was underwhelming...not bad but not the best. Sadly, the asparagus tasted better than the actual ravioli which should have been the star. Overall service was nice!

My meal was so large that after having an appetizer, I asked to bring the rest home. The next day I opened the bag to find a key ingredient was not included, so I was left with a dry piece of meat. I called to alert them and the response was tepid at best. It was the most expensive item on the menu. I expect more of a restaurant that rates themselves so highly. Not returning.

Thought we would update our review from last year. Same great server and service. Very good pasta pesto with shrimp and veal milanese with potatoes--big portion and very filling. The gem salad is our favorite and Daniel was a good server. Vito, the GM, is top notch and cares about making his customers happy.

Overall I enjoyed the food at Dolce. The dishes were flavorful and well presented, the dishes seemed reasonably authentic and had fresh ingredients too. There is no denying this restaurant is very touristy because it is in a hotel right in the middle of a popular tourist destination, although I'm not sure if that is a reason not to go. I did think the service was a bit brisk, and properly could have been improved slightly but it could have been an off night.
